Former UFC lightweight challenger Hermes Franca was recently sentenced to 42 months in prison for sexual abuse on an underage female student that he used to teach in a jiu-jitsu academy.
He initially plead not guilty to seven counts of sex abuse in the first degree and two counts of unlawful sexual penetration until finally pleading guilty to one count of sexual penetration and one count of first-degree sexual abuse.
Franca was sentenced to 42 months in prison and four-and-a-half years of post-prison supervision.
