Six Month Suspension
According to MMA Fighting, Lesnar has put his name back into the USADA drug testing pool but is inactive due to his suspension from testing positive for PED’s. His suspension isn’t up until six months, making the fight with Cormier not possible until January, 2019.
WWE Obligations
Lesnar is still contracted with the WWE. His contract includes paid appearances instead of set dates. More on that here.
During UFC 226 post-show, Dana White has gone on record that WWE is fine with Lesnar fighting for the UFC. White even when on to comment that Brock keeps Vince “in the know”.
Cormier has even stated that he is a huge WWE fan and would like to work a program with Lesnar on WWE television in the nearby future.
