This past weekend at the WrestleCon event from Orlando, former WWE Superstar Damien Sandow (Aaron Stevens) announced that he’s done with Impact Wrestling.
Aron Stevens Wrestling Career
Real name Aron Steven Haddad, the former Damien Sandow was signed to WWE developmental in 2002 just two years after beginning his career. He wrestled with Ohio Valley Wrestling until 2007 when he was released. He worked on the indies and in Puerto Rico before once again signing with WWE developmental in 2010. After 2 years wrestling in Florida, Damien Sandow was finally called up to the main roster in 2012, 10 years after signing his first developmental deal.
He was released by WWE in 2016, despite having amassed some popularity after having been the Miz’s comical side kick for a period. He competed as Aron Rex briefly in TNA, including debuting a brand new version of his character in the video below.
