Top UK independent promotion IPW:UK has confirmed an international Dream Match for their upcoming Pro Wrestling: NOAH co-branded GLOBAL CLASH show which will be taking place on Sunday 23rd September from Mote Hall in Maidstone, England.
British wrestling icon Doug Williams will be facing Japanese wrestling legend Naomichi Marufuji in a bout pitting the King of the British Style and one of the pioneers of Japanese Strong Style.
Joining the previously confirmed Naomichi Marufuji and Doug Williams are the following names:
- Chris Ridgeway
- IPW:UK World Champion Kip Sabian
- Kaito Kiyomiya
- Mark Haskins
- Daisuke Harada
- Tadasuke
- Yo-Hey
- Hayata
IPW:UK has also confirmed that the co-branded NOAH supercard has also changed venue, the company sent out the following message earlier today:
“PW Owner Billy Wood – ‘We are really proud to announce our new relationship which will take place with immediate affect with Mote Hall in Maidstone. Coming up to our anniversary it never sat well with me that our biggest shows were held in a venue that unfortunately due to the nature of the venue lacked disability access and unfortunately made attending the big IPW shows impossible for many. Back in December a fan travelled nearly 2 hours and took health risks to be able to see the show, the truth is that shouldn’t be happening and that moment has stuck with me ever since. With Mote Hall all fans will have access and with our Anniversary selling at the rate it is it’s vital we have a space which accommodates all. We really enjoyed our time at Casino Rooms but now it’s time for a change and with that change we celebrate the biggest weekend in IPW history. Anniversary XIV & IPW/NOAH Global Clash”
