Is Bobby Lashley Being Pressured to Leave Pro Wrestling?

Bobby Lashley

Coming off of his Global Force Wrestling unification title match loss to Alberto El Patron this past weekend at the Slammiversary XV pay-per-view (PPV), Bobby Lashley could be contemplating a departure from the professional wrestling business. Per a report from PWInsider, Lashley’s mixed martial arts (MMA) team, American Top Team (ATT), is pressuring the Bellator MMA heavyweight to focus on his fighting career full-time.

This would mean that Lashley would be pulling back on a significant amount of dates he’d be working for Global Force Wrestling. The report suggests that meetings have been taking place for the last several days over the matter, but no further details are known as this time. Lashley’s current MMA record sits at 16-2 with his last appearance inside the cage seeing him take home a second round submission win over Josh Appelt at Bellator 162 last year. The win marked Lashley’s eighth consecutive victory in MMA competition.
