Jake Hager who signed with AEW recently has more than a decade of experience in professional wrestling. He is a different guy compared to when he signed with WWE as Jack Swagger and had no experience in the world of sports entertainment whatsoever.
During a recent interview with WrestlingInc, the former World Champion talked about a number of things and also explained the difference between these two characters.
The Bellator star said that he felt choreographed in WWE and the Jake Hager who is now in his 30s has got culture and experience after having been around the world a couple of times before signing with AEW:
“As cool as Jack Swagger was, he felt choreographed, I look at that as a 20-year-old Jake Hager. Now, Jake Hager is in his 30’s, he’s been around the world a couple of times, he’s got culture, he’s got experience. He’s just a, smarter, more well-developed human being.”
Jake Hager also talked about joining AEW. Talking about the stars he would like to face in the company, he said AEW has a great roster and took the names of the likes of Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley, and Rey Phoenix.
