It appears that after the likes of Magnus and Matt Morgan, James Storm is the latest TNA veteran who will be leaving the company now known as Impact Wrestling.
The former World Champion lost to Dan Lambert in a match during the latest tapings with the stipulation that Storm will have to leave the company if he lost.
This is the final tapings before James’ contract expires in January next year. So it’s believed that he will be leaving the company, which he has been with since the very beginning, after this.
It’s worth mentioning here that Storm hinted about his departure during a recent media call saying that you never know what the future holds and there might be a new door opening:
“There’s a lot that I can’t really talk about, but I always say: you never know what the future holds, There might be a new door opening, I don’t know. All I can do is work my butt off, get in the best shape I can, just show up to work and do what I’m told.”
James Storm started working for TNA during the early days of the company back in 2002 and apart from a couple of appearance for NXT in 2015, he has been associated with Impact ever since.
No word yet on what’s next for the former Champion but we’ll keep you posted on any further development in the situation.
