TNA star Jeff Hardy recently spoke with The Huffington Post to promote Impact Wrestling on Pop TV. Here are some highlights:
– Regarding his brother Matt’s new “Big Money Matt” persona, Jeff says it’s an extension of who Matt really is. He thinks Matt is doing the best work his career and he’s proud to see him as TNA World champion.
– Jeff is still disappointed that his Hardy Boyz reunion from last year was derailed after he broke his leg in a motocross accident. After defeating The Wolves for the TNA tag titles, they had to surrender the belts before they ever got a chance to defend them. “Getting hurt outside the ring was such a bad thing,” Jeff said. “I let so many people down. I hurt TNA by doing that.”
– Despite last year’s setback, he still wants to reform the Hardy Boyz one day. “Ultimately, I’d love to tag with him again, and win the titles so we could at least defend them together once. Just to make my soul feel a little better about the way I messed things up.”
However, before there’s a final Hardy Boyz reunion, Jeff says there’s one stipulation he has in mind. “We’ve got to get that Matt vs. Jeff match out of the way first.”
