Jeff Jarrett Having Trouble Securing TV Deal For GFW, Details On A Concept He Has Tried Pitching

Jeff Jarrett has been having issues finding a paid television deal for a weekly show for his upstart Global Force Wrestling (GFW) promotion.

According to television industry sources, Jarrett has proposed a concept for a show to at least one network, which is said to be a channel without full national clearance, and likely some additional networks, however he hasn’t been able to secure a deal for whatever that concept is.

Jarrett’s current idea is to do a test-run live show that would feature wrestlers from the independent scene, AAA and New Japan Pro Wrestling all working under the GFW banner.

It’s been speculated that Jarrett will be making some kind of announcement regarding GFW’s future later this month. In fact, at one point it was reported that Jarrett would be announcing a GFW television taping in Las Vegas in the near future, as he has been in negotiations with an arena in Las Vegas that would be the official home for GFW.
