Impact Wrestling announced on Monday that they’ve cut all business ties with company founder Jeff Jarrett and Global Force Wrestling. The news came after a series of incidents over the weekend involving Jarrett, who showed up to an independent show in Canada in ‘no condition to perform’ and missing a date for the same promotion the following night.
In a statement issued to Tennessean.com, the 50 year old former World champion made it clear that he has no plans to ride off into the sunset.
“I’ve spent 31 years in the wrestling business,” Jarrett said. “I’m not getting out of the wrestling business.”
The article noted that Jarrett declined to comment on his latest split with Impact Wrestling.
