Last night on the Major League Wrestling tapings, Jim Cornette made his début in the promotion by joining the broadcast team alongside Rich Bocchini as a color commentator in Chicago, Illinois.
MLW CEO Court Bauer commented on Jim Cornette joining MLW. “The breadth and depth of our commentator pool sets the bar. Each commentator or analyst excels at bringing a passion for the sport which is a key driving force behind MLW’s programming.”
Jim Cornette joins Rich Bocchini, Tony Schiavone and Matt Striker as part of MLW’s English commentary team. MLW will make announcements regarding their broadcast assignments on a case-by-case basis.
PWInsider reports that Cornette will also be working behind the scenes as a producer. He is reportedly scheduled to be part of MLW’s back-to-back shows next month in NYC during WrestleMania 35 weekend.
