Jim Ross on Ronda Rousey in WWE
TMZ Sports caught up with WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross. TMZ asked Jim Ross if he thought Ronda Rousey would come to the WWE. Here was JR’s response:
“She is going to be a big star. It is inevitable. I see her in a WrestleMania someday. It is too great of an opportunity for her to pass up and for WWE to pass up. It is a match made in heaven.”
TMZ also stated that Ric Flair recently said that Kurt Angle could have been good in the UFC and asked for JR’s thoughts:
“Yeah, he probably could of. After 1996 or so, I’m sure he could have made a nice transition. He is an amazing athlete.”
Jim Ross was also asked if he thought we were entering a new “golden age of wrestling” and here was his response:
“I hope so. Somebody has got to break through the clutter and become the next big thing. I don’t know who it is going to be. I wish I knew.”
