37 year-old John Hennigan, now known to Lucha Underground fans as Johnny Mundo, has proposed to girlfriend, Taya Valkyrie.

Mundo and Taya wrestle for Lucha Underground and AAA Lucha Libre in Mexico. Taya is the longtime Reina de Reinas champion, and Hennigan holds AAA’s top 3 singles titles as well as the LU championship.
The real-life couple were put together in Lucha Underground as part of Mundo’s “World Wide Underground” stable. On last week’s episode, Taya informed Mundo he would be defending his title against Rey Mysterio Jr. next.
