Jon Moxley is a perfect 5-0 in the G1 Climax 29 tournament and 7-0 in singles matches in NJPW. Moxley defeated Juice Robinson for the IWGP United States championship in his first match for the promotion and then defeated Shota Umino in his second. Now past the midway point in his first G1 Climax tournament, Moxley is 5-0 and opening up a lead atop his Block.
He now has a 4 point lead on Tomohiro Ishii and Juice Robinson who are each 3-2 and are tied for second place in B Block.
Moxley recently defeated former IWGP heavyweight champion Tetsuya Naito in the main event of the tournament’s 10th night. After the match, Moxley cut a promo to end the show.
