Justin Credible recently took part in an interview with Chris Van Vliet and discussed comparisons between AEW and ECW. Credible is a former ECW World Champion and noted some similarities and differences between the two companies.
“They have that rebellious attitude,” Credible said of AEW. “There is a spirit to AEW, it’s catching on especially with millennials with that 18-48 demographic that’s so important. I do see some similarities.”
Credible then pointed out one difference he sees between the two promotions:
“The one thing that they don’t have, I’m not being critical, we had Paul Heyman and Paul was just a crazy, insane visionary and he just threw a bunch of s**t against he wall and whatever stuck stuck. I just think that they are finding their footing, their groove but yeah there are a lot of things that are very similar and they have a huge opportunity.”

“I was an opioid addict, heroin addict, I haven’t done that since 2011 but I have a problem with alcohol. Am I perfect? No. Do I drink every day? No. I’m trying, I’m working hard and it’s not very easy all the time.”
