King Mo On Difficulty Of Pro Wrestling, His MMA Return Tonight On Spike TV

TNA Impact Wrestling star and Bellator MMA fighter Muhammad “King Mo” Lawal was recently interviewed about his upcoming fight against Jacob Noe on Wednesday evening, and as always, the subject of pro wrestling reared its’ head into the conversation.

When discussing whether or not pro wrestling is taking away from his MMA training, Mo said, “I train year round. After the match in Ohio Valley Wrestling, I was right back in the gym on Monday. I don’t do training camps; I just train year round.”

Further elaborating on the surprising difficulty of pro wrestling training, Mo continued, “I was surprised with how hard it’s been. I didn’t think the bumps, hitting the ropes, would be all that hard on you. I knew it was going to be hard, but I didn’t know was going to do a match and then be sore for four or five days later. I can fight and be sore for only like two or three days.”

Check out the full interview, where King Mo talks more about balancing MMA and pro wrestling training, as well as his MMA return tonight on Spike TV, at MMAWeekly.com.
