Kurt Angle has been officially pulled from Sunday’s TNA Lockdown pay-per-view. Angle recently underwent surgery after the TNA crew returned from the UK, which he delayed so he could wrestle on the tour. The storyline explanation is that Angle will need surgery due to EC3’s attack, which aired on Thursday’s Impact. Angle tweeted on Friday:
Attack by EC3 in London aired last night has taken me out of Lockdown Sunday. Surgery required but I will be back soon!

EC3 played up the storyline on Twitter, noting that he’ll still be competing at Lockdown and will hold a press conference at the TNA Lockdown Fan Interaction event to address the situation.
I will be hosting a press conference tomorrow at #FanInteraction for #LockdownMiami in regards to @RealKurtAngle's status and injury.

In the meantime, my thoughts are with @RealKurtAngle. In the heat of competition, things happen. For that, I am truly sorry. #GetWellKurt
