All Elite Wrestling (AEW) recently announced they will be debuting their new TV show on TNT come October 2nd. The show itself takes place in the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC.
With their TV debut approaching, YouTube shows to schedule, and pay-per-view events such as All Out on the horizon, AEW seems to have no intention of slowing down. You can add AEW house shows to their ever-growing list of events.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the promotion aims to run 100-120 live events each year, including Saturday night house shows. That’s alongside the 51 TV show days and scheduled pay-per-view events. With at least one house show planned each week, top AEW talent will likely work approximately 75 matches a year.
AEW will be booking arenas based off demand, with some holding 6,000 and others up to 11,000.
