Legendary pro wrestler and behind-the-scenes figure George Scott passed away from lung cancer at age 84 in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida on Monday night.
Scott was a respected booker, who was a big influence on the Jim Crockett Promotions territory in the 1980s, as well as the early WWE boom period during the first two WrestleMania shows.
In addition to his behind-the-scenes work, Scott was also a legendary pro wrestler who had a solid run as a tag-team with his brother Sandy Scott.
