– In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter it’s noted that plans are set to be in place for the filming of the second season of ‘Lucha Underground’ on the El Rey Network.
At present, the current location in Boyle Heights, CA is likely to be used once again but as of yet no official announcement has been made to the public, nor do talent have any specific dates.
A change of location has apparently been discussed to save money including moving the show down to Mexico but major executives likely wouldn’t be happy about travelling there so often.
– In other ‘Lucha Underground’ news, Dario Cueto’s monster, who is seemingly his brother will be given the name ‘Monster Matanza Cueto’.
Cueto’s biggest rival in the second season, the masked man behind Black Lotus is set to be given the name of ‘The Master’.
