Mark Henry Was Close To Retiring, WWE 2012 PPV Schedule

– Shortly before his most recent run as the dominant heel on the SmackDown brand, Mark Henry was close to retiring earlier this year. Henry, who is currently out of action battling injurie, was interviewed in the new issue of WWE Magazine and said:

“Well, I’m older in the business, and my children miss their dad.  Not to mention the aches and pains are just making it harder to get through everything. But, right now, I’m feeling fresh and things are going well. I’m going to hang around as long as I can.”

– Here is the updated listing of WWE PPVs for 2012 as they are currently scheduled, including several new dates confirmed from the most recent issue of WWE Magazine.  It’s worth noting that with the WWE Network launching on April 1st, many of WWE’s pay-per-view events are expected to air on the Network.
