28 year-old Marty Scurll’s ascension in pro-wrestling continues, as he has been announced for this year’s Best of the Super Juniors tournament in NJPW. The round-robin tournament kicks of on May 17th.

Best of the Super Juniors 2017
Last year the tournament was won by another Englishman, Will Ospreay, the first time a wrestler from England has won the tournament.
The highlight of last year’s tournament was the well-received Will Ospreay vs. Ricochet match. Not everyone liked the match however, as some, most notably Vader, felt it was too high-spot focussed. Others point out that high-spot laden matches are what the Best of the Super Juniors is all about.
