Matt Hardy was rushed to an emergency room in North Carolina this morning after falling down in his home, according to a report on celebrity news site TMZ.com.
Sources close to the wrestling star told TMZ that Matt hadn’t been feeling well, however, it’s unclear as to what caused him to fall down.
The extent of his injuries are unknown at this time, but he is expected to be released from the hospital tomorrow.
On Saturday, Hardy crashed his convertible into a pipe and tree driving between 55 and 70 MPH. He was subsequently arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. According to the officer, he appeared to have taken an “impairing substance.”
Hardy, who was suspended by TNA Wrestling at the time of his crash, was released from his contract shortly after news broke of his arrest.
