When Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Ronda Rousey main event WrestleMania 35 next weekend, Michelle McCool hopes they get paid as much as men who have main event’ed the same show. TMZ caught up with the former Divas and WWE women’s champion recently and she talked about WrestleMania.
“I do think the women should get paid,
McCool didn’t hesitate with her reply. “I hope they do and think they should.”
Due to the secretive nature of WWE’s bonus system, it will be difficult to know if the women are compensated in a similar manner to

Equal Pay In Pro Wrestling
With women’s wrestling growing in popularity inside and outside WWE, the topic of equal pay has come up with regularity as of late. Chief “Brandi” Officer for AEW, Brandi Rhodes, has said that wrestlers across genders in the promotion will be paid equally in regards to their position in the company.
“Equal pay means equal opportunity regardless of sex. It does not mean that everyone will be paid the exact same salary regardless of their position. It means the gender pay gap does not apply. An
