New Match Set For AEW On TNT Premiere

A new match has been officially announced for the premiere episode of AEW on TNT. 

The promotion announced during the latest episode of Being The Elite that MJF vs. Brandon Cutler in a singles match will take place. 

This contest joins a stacked lineup that is expected to feature the main event of Chris Jericho & mystery partners vs. The Young Bucks & Kenny Omega in a six-man tag team match. 

The event will take place on Wednesday, October 2 from the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. Tickets, which were priced at $250, $90, $75, $50, $35, and $20, went on sale back on August 2 and sold out in a few hours.

Also, Jon Moxley is slated to make an appearance, although his exact role is unknown at this time. Here is the updated card: 

  • Chris Jericho & mystery partners vs. The Young Bucks & Kenny Omega.
  • Nyla Rose vs. Riho to crown the first AEW Women’s Champion
  • Cody vs. Sammy Guevara.
  • Jon Moxley to appear
