Wrestling free agent Nic Nemeth will have the chance to flex his comedic muscles as part of a new film he’s been attached to.
Nemeth was released from WWE in September 2023, ending his nearly two-decade career with the Sports Entertainment juggernaut. Nemeth is best known for his time as Dolph Ziggler and is a two-time former World Heavyweight Champion and one-time WWE NXT Champion. The Show-Off was arguably the biggest name cut from WWE last year.
Nic Nemeth’s New Comedy Film
Taking to Twitter this week, Nemeth shared that he has a part in the new comedy film Drugstore June. The former Superstar was pleased to be working with some very funny people and said that the film’s lead Esther Povitsky ‘kills it’ in her role.

According to IMDB, Ziggler portrays the role of a deliveryman. Other names attached include Bobby Lee (Pineapple Express), Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense), Beverly D’Angelo (National Lampoon), and James Remar (Miracle on 34th Street). The film is set to be released next month.
What’s Next for Nic Nemeth?
While Nemeth hopes to continue his comedy career, the Show-Off’s first passion remains pro-wrestling. Nemeth made his debut for NJPW at the recent Wrestle Kingdom event, where he brawled with David Finlay. The two will face off at The New Beginning on February 23. There have also been creative pitches within AEW for Nemeth’s arrival though it is unclear if the All-Elite promotion has reached out to the former Superstar at this time.
