Yuji Nagata, Manabu Nakaishi, Jushin Thunder Liger & Tiger Mask IV b. Tomoaki Honma, Ryusuke Taguchi, Juice Robinson & David Finlay – Liger took the win with a ground cobra twist

Katsuyori Shibata, Michael Elgin, Satoshi Kojima & KUSHIDA b. Toru Yano, YOSHI-HASHI, Katsuhiko Nakajima & Atsushi Kotoge – Kojima took the win with a Lariat on Kotoge

Kenny Omega, Tanga Loa, Yujiro Takahashi & Hangman Page b. Tetsuya Naito, EVIL, BUSHI & Jay Lethal – Page took the win for Bullet Club following a Rite of Passage on BUSHI

G1 Tournament A Block Results

SANADA b. Hiroyoshi Tenzan – While both men were mathematically eliminated this was a hard fought bout that SANADA won with the Skull End.

Tenzan – 2 Wins, 7 Losses for 4 Points

Tomohiro Ishii b. Togi Makabe – Ishii takes the win with the Vertical Fall Brainbuster

Makabe 4 Wins, 5 Losses for 8 Points

Tama Tonga b. Bad Luck Fale – Tonga teased twice that he would take the fall so that Fale would have a chance to get to the final, he took the win with the Gun Stun

Tonga 4 Wins, 5 Losses for 8 Points

Fale 5 Wins, 4 Losses for 10 Points

Hirooki Goto b. Naomichi Marufuji – Goto took the win with the GTR to keep himself alive in the tournament, he just needed a draw or a double DQ/double count out from Okada/Tanahashi

Final Totals:

Goto 6 Wins, 4 Losses for 12 Points

Marufuji 5 Wins, 4 Losses for 10 Points

Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Kazuchika Okada – DRAW

Tanahashi and Okada went to a 30 minute time limit draw, this is a match that you have to go out of your way to see as it is easily one of the greatest matches in G1 tournament history. Due to the result Goto wins A block and advances to the final on Sunday.
