G1 Climax 2018 Night 2 Results

New Japan Pro Wrestling’s annual G1 Climax is widely regarded as the greatest tournament in pro wrestling today. Two blocks of competitors will compete in a round robin format to determine the number 1 contender to Kenny Omega’s IWGP Heavyweight Championship at January 4th’s Wrestle Kingdom. The tournament has now begun and here are the results from Night 2:

B Block Results

Tomohiro Ishii b. Toru Yano – Ishii took the win via a low blow into La Casita

Tama Tonga b. Juice Robinson – Tonga took the pinfall win after reversing the Pulp Friction into a Gun Stun

Hirooki Goto b. SANADA – Goto won by pinfall after hitting the GTR

Kota Ibushi b. Zack Sabre, Jr. – Ibushi won via pinfall after hitting the Kamigoye

Kenny Omega b. Tetsuya Naito – Omega won via pinfall after hitting the One-Winged Angel
