“Cowboy” James Storm recently made his first defence of the NWA National Championship at a Championship Wrestling from Hollywood show. The NWA posted the full segment and match to their official YouTube channel.

“Cowboy James Storm won the NWA National Title in controversial fashion from the injured Colt Cabana,” the YouTube description of the video reads. “Now with his vendetta against the National Wrestling Alliance, James Storm has declared he’s not NWA or anyone else. He’s his own man carrying the NWA National Championship.”

NWA Looking At Weekly Television Show?
News broke this week that the NWA and ROH have ended their working relationship. Billy Corgan is said to be looking at developing a weekly series for the NWA which would air on YouTube if a TV channel can’t be found.
In February of 2018, the NWA trademarked the term “the Dumont Network” which is the first network in the United States to air wrestling. They operated in the 40s and 50s before shutting down.
