Pete Dunne was crowned the 2nd ever WWE United Kingdom Champion at last night’s NXT Takeover event in Chicago.
The win in Chicago held extra significance for Pete Dunne. He mentioned on Twitter that he had been to RAW in the Allstate Arena 3 years prior as a fan:
3 years ago I sat in the allstate arena watching RAW after flying myself out to the US. Tonight I won a @WWE title in the same building.
