Viewership data has been released for the October 16th editions of AEW Dynamite on TNT and NXT on the USA Network.
Week 3 of the Wednesday Night War is in the books and AEW was victorious once again in total viewers and the coveted Adults 18-49 demographic. Here is the breakdown of the live and same-night DVR viewership, courtesy of Showbuzz Daily:
Dynamite
AEW Dynamite on TNT averaged 1,014,00 viewers, down from last week’s 1,140,000 viewers (a total of the TNT and TruTV Simulcast).
Dynamite did a 0.44 in the 18-49 demo, also down but close to last week’s 0.46. It ranked 5th on cable for the night.
The show featured Chris Jericho defending the AEW World Championship against Darby Allin in the main event, Riho defending the AEW Women’s Championship, 2 AEW World Tag Team Champion Tournament first round matches and the hot Kenny Omega & Hangman Page vs. Jon Moxley & PAC tag match.
NXT
NXT on USA Network had 712,000 viewers, down from 790,000 last week.
The show did a 0.20 in the 18-49 demo, down from 0.22 last week. It ranked 30th on cable for the night.
NXT featured Pete Dunne vs. Damien Priest, Tommaso Ciampa’s in-ring return, the Keith Lee vs. Dominik Dijakovic rubber match and more.
