A former AEW name made a surprise appearance on camera at NXT Halloween Havoc 2024 tonight in a backstage segment.

Sarah Schreiber was in the back with Lexis King and she asked him if he found a corner man for his match against Charlie Dempsey on NXT. Lexis said that he is ready for the match but he does not have a corner man yet. 

William Regal then appeared and said that he will be Lexis’ corner man. Regal said that he knew Lexis’ father and he has learned that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Regal will be backing the man facing his own son for the NXT Heritage Cup!
