Keith Lee Defeated Kona Reeves
Keith Lee squared off against Kona Reeves on this week’s episode of NXT. Reeves locked in an Arm Bar to start off the match. Lee broke free and launched Reeves into the air. Kona landed on his feet and grabbed his knee in pain. Reeves cowered to the ropes and pretended that he was injured as the referee held Lee back.
Kona capitalized with a boot to the face and then a couple of elbows to the back of Lee’s head. Keith battled back with a Clothesline and then leveled Reeves with a Crossbody. Kona connected with a Uranage out of nowhere and went for the cover but Lee kicked out at two. Lee hit a headbutt and then sent Reeves flying with a shoulder tackle. Keith lifted Reeves up onto his shoulders and connected with the Limit Breaker for the pinfall victory.
Mia Yim Defeated Bianca Belair Again
Bianca Belair once again faced Mia Yim on this week’s show. Belair drove Yim to the cover and then slammed her to the mat. Yim rolled up Belair for a two count and followed it up with a couple of Arm Drags. Mia connected with a Dropkick and went for the cover but Belair kicked out at two.
Belair locked in an Abdominal Stretch in the middle of the ring as the crowd got behind Yim. Mia broke free with a Hip Toss but Belair responded with a Gutbuster for a near fall. Bianca then locked in a Bow and Arrow but Yim quickly escaped. Belair connected with a knee to the face and then stomped on Mia’s midsection.
Mia rolled up Belair for a two count and Bianca quickly connected with an X-Factor. Yim locked in Arm Bar in the middle of the ring but Belair countered into a roll-up for a two count. Mia sent Belair into the steel steps outside the ring and both superstars fell to the floor.
Back in the ring, Mia hit a series of kicks and a Dropkick to Belair’s face. Mia hit Code Blue and went for the cover but Bianca kicked out at the last moment. Belair connected with an awesome German Suplex for another near fall. Bianca went for a Powerbomb but Yim countered into a Guillotine.
Bianca broke free and Yim hit her with a Penalty Kick. Mia hit Belair with the Protect Ya Neck off the second rope for the pinfall victory. This is Yim’s second victory in a row against Bianca Belair.
