Randy Orton is reportedly set to make his WWE return as early as next month, according to PWInsider’s sources within WWE’s creative team. The current plan calls for Orton to be back in action in time for the company’s European tour, which takes place in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania 41.

Orton, a 14-time world champion and one of WWE’s most decorated superstars, has been absent from in-ring competition for an extended period due to injury.

WWE’s European tour is set to take place ahead of the biggest event of the year, and Orton’s involvement could add further excitement to the international shows. With anticipation building for WrestleMania 41, his return could set up major rivalries heading into the marquee event.

Eddie Kingston Details Struggles With His Physical and Mental State Amid Recovery from Injury

Eddie Kingston suffered a broken leg, torn meniscus, and torn ACL during his no-rope last-man-standing match against Gabe Kidd at NJPW Resurgence, where he lost the NJPW Strong Openweight Title. The injury occurred when his leg struck the barricade during a suplex. Following the match, Kingston was further attacked by The Young Bucks after a confrontation with Jack Perry.

In a recent interview with Will Turner of Wrestling With The Narrative, Kingston provided an update on his physical and mental well-being.

“Physically, I feel like shit. Mentally, I feel like shit. So every day, I’m just working on getting better, you know what I’m saying?”

Kingston also opened up about the challenges of physical therapy and ongoing stomach issues.

“Physical therapy, it’s been tough just to get to physical therapy because of my insurance. I just got new insurance, and then right when I was ready to start my new PT place, I started getting stomach issues. I had to wait a long time—they had to do a thing where they put a camera down my throat. Good that it’s happening now while I’m off, but I was in a lot of pain.”

While still awaiting full test results, initial findings ruled out serious conditions such as cancer or ulcers. However, Kingston’s doctor noted that stress could be a factor.

“My primary doctor was like, ‘How’s stress for you?’ [laughs] I said, ‘How long do you have? Do we need a therapist to come in here?’ They’re trying to get me to not stress out, calm down.”

Kingston’s recovery process remains a difficult journey, but he continues to push forward despite the setbacks. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Sean Waltman Dubs Classic Encounter ‘Greatest Match I’ve Ever Had’

There are a lot of people who had the best match of their career against Bret Hart and Sean Waltman is one of them.

The WWE Hall of Famer recently appeared on the No Contest Wrestling podcast. He talked about things such as DX invading WCW, the effect of the Curtain Call on the wrestling world, and more.

They also talked about Waltman’s famous 1994 match with Bret Hart. Waltman who was very new to the business still, challenged Hart for the WWF World Heavyweight Title. While he did not win the match, Sean gave an incredible performance and many believe the bout to be his star-making moment.

Sean Waltman, known as The 1-2-3 Kid at the time noted how Bret Hart worked the match as a heel despite being a babyface at the time to make sure the fans got behind him:

“Bret was so giving in that match man. I mean he didn’t turn heel, but like he was the heel in that fucking match. He was on me. He made sure that people were behind me. That was like, you know, I mean he’s the top babyface in the company so it’s like – thank you.”

Greatest Match I’ve Ever Had: Sean Waltman

The former WWE star discussed how despite being a veteran by that point, Bret Hart took all the offense Sean Waltman threw at him. Per the former DX member, it was the greatest match he ever had:

“He let me do all my shit man. He put it in the proper place but yeah, he let me do everything I wanted to do. Some of that shit I never even used to…like I jack-knifed him and yeah. That’s the greatest match I’ve ever had. For sure. There’s like seven minutes missing from the actual match itself. They chopped it up a little bit to fit it into, to fit it into that segment.”

Sean Waltman had recently revealed that he was also diagnosed with diverticulitis in 2024 and noted that Kenny Omega helped him through the disease. You can check out his comment on the matter here.

Over 30,000 WWE fans will be in attendance this Saturday night for WWE’s final premium live event before WrestleMania.

The double main event features Men’s and Women’s Elimination Chamber matches to determine Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley’s challengers at WrestleMania 41.

Additionally, WWE has confirmed that rapper Travis Scott will make an appearance during the Premium Live Event, adding a high-profile celebrity presence to an already highly anticipated night.

Lex Luger Opens Up About Working With DDP

Lex Luger has opened up about working with DDP.

The wrestling veteran recently had an interview with Chris Van Vliet. He talked about things such as the passing of miss Elizabeth, his relationship with Eric Bischoff, making his debut on the very first WCW Nitro and more.

During the interview, Luger went into depth describing his health issues and revealed the moment he finally asked for DDP’s help. The former World Champion discussed being present for Sting’s retirement match at Revolution 2024 in Greensboro, North Carolina:

“I saw DDP back at Sting’s retirement match that we both were able to go to, which was awesome. I just said, ‘Hey, D. You think we could do maybe a little bit of work on getting a little more movement? I’m pretty much in this chair full time, I’m having trouble just doing everyday stuff and brushing my teeth and to shower, my quality of life’s dropped quite a bit, my energy levels, everything.’”

He’s A Special Guy: Lex Luger

Lex Luger discussed how he had actually regained a lot of mobility following his original 2008 spinal cord injury after spending 2 years in a rehab center. After he fell down a few times, the doctors convinced him to start using mobility devices to avoid further damage. This change however, led to him losing his confidence and he became dependent for even the most basic day to day tasks.

Revealing how DDP reacted to his request, the former WCW star said that he was more than willing to help and their friendship has only grown strong since then:

“You know DDP, all you got to do is tell him that he goes, ‘Brother, I’ve been waiting for you to come to me on this.’ So we went to work, and we made amazing progress that we were going to reveal to everybody for his incredible partner, Steve and him are documenting, kind of filming it and the progress, and it’s going to be pretty cool. I’m real excited and thankful for what he’s doing with me. Our friendship was always there, but our friendship is growing. So he’s a special guy.”

Lex Luger seems to be making great progress in his recovery with DDP. A recent video showed that the wrestling veteran is able to stand up on his own and move his body a lot freely than he did before. During the talk, Luger noted that he is able to do the basic tasks like brushing his teeth or getting into the bathroom by himself once again as well.

Fans in England and Italy will have their chance to see Roman Reigns live as part of the European road to WrestleMania 41. On February 27, WWE confirmed that the OTC will be live at SmackDown from Bologna, Italy on Friday, March 21. Reigns will also be live at the following week’s edition of SmackDown from London, England.

WWE’s Road to WrestleMania 41 will travel through Europe with several tapings planned across the continent. The full tour is as follows:

Reigns’ role at WrestleMania 41 remains unclear, though there have been rumors of a triple-threat showdown with CM Punk and Seth Rollins. However, with Punk and Rollins both being Monday Night Raw talents, it remains to be seen how Reigns’ SmackDown fits into plans.

Whatever the case, fans in Europe will have their chance to acknowledge Reigns live and in person in March 2025.

Lex Luger: I Take Responsibility For Miss Elizabeth’s Death

Lex Luger has refuted the notion that he ‘killed’ Miss Elizabeth, but acknowledged that his actions did play a role in her death on May 1, 2003. Luger was the one to call 9-1-1 to report that Elizabeth was not breathing, with her cause of death being ruled as an overdose.

For years, many have blamed Luger for Miss Elizabeth’s passing, as the pair had a toxic relationship, including a reported domestic dispute weeks before her passing. On the Insight podcast, Luger reflected on the notion that his lifestyle of drink and drugs killed the ‘First Lady of Wrestling.’

“People go, ‘Well, he killed Elizabeth.’ Well, I didn’t kill her. But was I a contributing factor to the lifestyle I was living and her being around me all the time and she overdosed? Absolutely.”

When asked if he takes responsibility, Luger confessed that this is the case.

“Absolutely. Sure, there’s always collateral damage to lifestyles like that, and she was part of it. So absolutely. Sadly.”

Though many would see Elizabeth’s passing as Luger’s rock bottom, that is far from the case. As Lex explained, the death of Miss Elizabeth would only speed up his spiralling into depression.

“I felt completely unlovable… I hate to admit it, who I was back then, Instead of being so grieving over the loss of Liz, I was grieving over what this would do to me and my career.”

Miss Elizabeth, real name Elizabeth Ann Hulette, was buried with a simple headstone in her hometown of Frankfort, Kentucky. Sadly, fans will never know what would have become of ‘Liz’ had the destructive nature of substance abuse sadly common in pro wrestling had not claimed her as a victim.

Booker T Shares Terrified First Reaction To The Elimination Chamber

Booker T was one of the first six Superstars to compete inside the Elimination Chamber, a match that the Hall of Famer was not looking forward to. Speaking on WWE’s YouTube channel, Booker recalled his reaction to seeing the Chamber for the first time.

“I was sitting there with Hunter. I’m looking at the structure, and the first thing I say is, somebody’s gonna get f***** up tonight, really bad… I was looking at the structure and I was frightened. I was scared.”

Booker was “timid” throughout the match’s debut at Survivor Series 2002, as he was afraid to fall on the steel grating surrounding the ring. Booker was wisely wary that the Chamber could prove to be just as dangerous as the five other Superstars in the match.

“If you hit an elbow, it’s split open. You drop a knee on it [the steel floor.] you’re going to be busted open. You’re going to be cut up.”

Despite the combined decades of in-ring experience between Booker and his opponents, Kane, Rob Van Dam, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, and Triple H, nothing could prepare the six for the first Elimination Chamber. In Booker’s words “We’re all pretty much flying by the seat of our pants on this thing.”

Booker’s days in the Elimination Chamber are long behind him, but his protege Roxanne Perez will take her first steps inside the structure at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 from Toronto this Saturday, March 1.

With WrestleMania 41 and a promise Perez made to her younger self looming, the NXT star will hope to do what her mentor couldn’t and win an Elimination Chamber match.

Bianca Belair & Naomi Plot Revenge On Dominik Mysterio After Title Loss

Bianca Belair and Naomi are ready to get their hands on ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio after losing the Women’s Tag Team Championships on the February 24, edition of WWE Raw. In the show’s main event, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez kicked-off their record-breaking third reign with the titles by defeating Naomi and Belair, thanks in part to Dominik’s interference.

Now, Belair and Naomi have payback in mind. When a fan shared their hope that the former champions will teach ‘Dirty Dom’ a painful lesson, Belair made clear she wants a match with Mysterio.

Naomi is also ready to face Dominik Mysterio. Not only does she want to throw down with the Judgment Day member, but is eager to give him a painful makeover.

It remains to be seen if either the Glow or the EST will face Mysterio, but such matches will be possible in WWE 2K25. The upcoming game will mark the return of intergender matches as a playable feature, in a sharp turn from WWE’s usual stance on male vs. female contests. With over 300 playable characters, WWE 2K25 will be the literally biggest wrestling game ever, giving fans plenty of opportunities for intergender matches and more.

Belair and Naomi will be a part of the Women’s Elimination Chamber match on March 1, a match that will also feature Morgan. While the Chamber should in theory keep Dominik at bay, Belair and Naomi know to not count out cheating from Liv and her ‘Daddy Dom.’

Buddy Matthews Is “1/2 Iron Man” With New Injury Walking Boot

Buddy Matthews has confirmed that he suffered an injury at AEW Grand Slam: Australia by sharing that he is now using a protective walking boot. On his Instagram Stories, Matthews tried to see the funny side of his situation, suggesting that the boot made him feel like Marvel’s Iron Man.

image 11

Talk of Matthews suffering an injury at Grand Slam sprang shortly after his entrance for his match with AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada. Coming down from the ropes, Matthews landed awkwardly on his ankle and was seen limping after his loss in his home country.

At this time, details remain scarce about the specifics of Matthews’ injury and how long he will need off to recover. His absence comes amid major changes in his on-screen direction. With Malakai Black no longer with AEW, the group formerly known as the House of Black are now the Hounds of Hell, but Brody King and Julia Hart will be without Matthews for the time being.

Matthews’ situation proves that injuries in wrestling can come at any time, not just when wrestlers are battling it out in or out of the ring. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Buddy Matthews and his recovery.

Adam Cole Reveals If He Signalled End of Malakai Black’s AEW Run During Their Match

Adam Cole has opened up about his match with Malakai Black.

The Undisputed Kingdom star recently had an interview with 107.7 The Bone to promote the upcoming Revolution PPV. He talked about things such as his ankle injury, making his AEW debut alongside Bryan Danielson and more.

During the interview, the AEW star was also asked about sharing a hug with Malakai Black after their Dynamite match last November and if he had any idea about the future plans for the former House of Black leader. Adam Cole explained that it was just two friends sharing a moment after his return from his long hiatus:

“No, I really didn’t. So again I do have a history of working with Malakai. [He’s] just an unbelievable opponent, an unbelievable guy to step in there with. We’ve shared a lot of really really cool moments together. So for me all it was, was this personal moment between two guys who have a lot of love and respect for each other.

I don’t know anything about or didn’t know anything about what his plans were and things like that. For me it was just a cool moment with a friend after getting to work together after a long time.”

Malakai Black is believed to be on his way out of AEW and reports suggest that he has already finished up with the promotion. If true then it would mean that the Adam Cole match was Black’s final 1-on-1 match in the company as he only wrestled in a few tag matches after that.

Cole is currently not booked for a match at the AEW Revolution PPV but the show features a lot of interesting matches including a couple added this week. You can check out more details about the PPV here.

Drew McIntyre Reveals Unsaid Comeback to CM Punk’s Vince McMahon Jab

Drew McIntyre had a nasty reply ready for CM Punk during their infamous promo battle referencing Vince McMahon last year.

The name of the former Chairman has essentially been banned from WWE programming after ex-employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against McMahon accusing him of sexual trafficking among other things.

This didn’t stop CM Punk from referencing his former boss during a promo battle with McIntyre on the March 25, 2024 episode of Raw. Punk startled his rival by asking him about being ‘The Chosen One,’ a nickname given to Drew by Vince during his first WWE run.

The Scottish Warrior opened up about what was going through his mind at the time during a new interview with Inside the Ropes. He revealed that he had an equally bold response that he refrained from saying out loud:

“What’s going through my mind is: ‘The same person that fired you on your wedding day.’ But I’m a professional.”

For The Company: Drew McIntyre

CM Punk infamously got the papers of his WWE firing after his 2014 walkout on the day of his wedding with AJ Lee. In an interview with Steve Austin, Vince McMahon later claimed that the whole thing was an accident and apologized to Punk.

Drew McIntyre claimed that the whole promo battle was off the cuff with two guys who genuinely disliked each other going at it. Still, he refrained from the retort for the benefit of the company:

“It was a choice for me to make. Do I go back and then we see where we end up? Or do I bite my tongue and say OK, this round belongs to you. I’ll be a professional. I’ll do it for the company as well as the de facto babyface, even though I’m really the real babyface of the situation. So I let him have it. For the company, not for him.”

Drew McIntyre will be competing in the Elimination Chamber match this Saturday. This comes only days after the former champion had to get his knee drained. You can check out what McIntyre said about his knee before the PPV here.

Dave Bautista To Present at 2025 Oscars Ceremony

Dave Bautista has transitioned from WWE to become an acting heavyweight in Hollywood, and now he will have a role to play at the Oscars. Executive producer and showrunner Raj Kapoor and executive producer Katy Mullan announced this week that Bautista will be a presenter at the 97th Academy Awards on March 2.

Bautista will be joined by some Hollwyood headliners, including Harrison Ford, Gal Gadot, Andrew Garfield, Samuel L. Jackson, Zoe Saldaña and Rachel Zegler. The Oscars will take place at the the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood. The show will be televised live on ABC and streamed live on Hulu.

Bautista is one of the biggest success stories when it comes to wrestlers-turned actors, and is up there with the likes of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and John Cena. After a series of smaller projects, Bautista’s breakout role came as Drax the Destroyer in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy (2014.) He has since appeared in blockbuster franchises including Blade Runner, Knives Out, and James Bond, while also taking on roles in more low-key projects.

Bautista has shared his interest in becoming a director, though WWE’s Animal has yet to make his debut in the role. Nevertheless, Bautista’s role at the Oscars alongside some top names in acting only continues to demonstrate the Hollywood success of the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

WWE Changing Saudi Arabia Schedule For 2025

WWE will be making a change to their Saudi schedule this year to accommodate bringing Royal Rumble to the Kingdom next year.

The company has held two PPV events on Saudi soil since the beginning of its 10-year deal with the country in 2018, with the exception of the COVID years in 2020 and 2021.

During the 2024 TKO fourth quarter earnings call this week, however, CFO Andrew Schleimer revealed that the company will only hold one event in the Middle East this year, and make up for it in 2026:

“Our guidance for 2025 includes one PLE in Saudi Arabia, compared to two PLEs in 2024. This results in an unfavorable impact to our 2025 plan of approximately $55 million of total company revenue. We expect to host three PLEs in Saudi Arabia in 2026, including Royal Rumble,”

WWE has already announced the 2026 Royal Rumble event from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of Riyadh Season. So far, the company has not confirmed the date for the 2025 Saudi event.

TKO Group Holdings, the parent company of WWE is expanding its partnership with the Saudi government in other ways as well. Their other major promotion UFC held their second big Saudi event in UFC Fight Night 250 earlier this month.

Apart from this, the company is also nearing an agreement to start a brand-new combat sports league with the help of the country’s Public Investment Fund. You can check out more details on the matter here.

Nia Jax On Confronting Kids At WWE Events: ‘They’re So Rude!’

Nia Jax has been with WWE for a long time and can often be found getting in the face of children in the crowd. While speaking to Ring the Belle, Jax was asked about her apparent disdain for the younger members of the WWE Universe.

“Listen, these kids—you think they’re all innocent and sweet, but they come at me. They’re so rude! I’m out there doing them a favor, and they yell and shout things at me. ‘You suck, kid!’”

Jax’s feud with children has led to some interesting situations on TV. During the May 17, 2024, edition of WWE SmackDown, Jax took things a step further by going after Jade Cargill’s daughter, who was sitting in the front row. The former WWE Women’s Champion later shared that the exchange was therapeutic for her.

Nia Jax will be in action at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto on March 1, where she and Candice LeRae will battle Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus. Despite having the Women’s Champion and a Hall of Famer to deal with, fans shouldn’t be surprised if Jax takes a break from the action to target the younger members of the WWE Universe at ringside.

Roxanne Perez Shares Decade-Long Promise Ahead of WWE Elimination Chamber

Roxanne Perez will compete inside the Women’s Elimination Chamber match on March 1, a bout with WrestleMania implications. The victor will challenge either Rhea Ripley or IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s World Championship this April in Las Vegas.

Taking to X (fka Twitter,) Perez shared that she promised herself ten years ago that she would compete at WrestleMania. With the opportunity to do just that getting closer, the Prodigy doesn’t plan on letting the chance “slip through my fingers,” and dedicated her match in Toronto to her past self.

Whether she wins or loses at Elimination Chamber: Toronto, WrestleMania certainly appears to be in Perez’ future. Since arriving in WWE in 2021, The Prodigy has established herself as a major name in the women’s division, with two reigns as NXT Women’s Champion to her name. With plenty of success already and at the tender age of 23, Perez competing at WrestleMania doesn’t appear to be a question of if, but when.

Perez will face some stiff competion in this weekend’s Elimination Chamber, with former Chamber winners Alexa Bliss and Bianca Belair being a part of the match. Nevertheless, Roxanne has WrestleMania-sized dreams and is ready to fulfill the promise she made to her younger self.

Nick Khan Promises More WWE Content Coming To Netflix

Could more WWE programming be heading to Netflix in the future? Don’t count it out according to Nick Khan. Speaking on the TKO 2024 earnings call, the WWE President addressed the partnership between WWE and the streaming juggernaut so far.

“They’ve been phenomenal to deal with. They’ve promoted us in a way we hoped we would be promoted, even more so than we had hoped.”

Khan shared that Netflix has shown “an apetite for more WWE.” With plans already in motion, fans can expect much more WWE content on the platform.

“The appetite by Netflix to have additional ancillary programming, we announced a few weeks ago, we’re doing a WWE behind the scenes show with Netflix, which will come out later this year. Assume there is more cooking in the pipeline.”

Netflix currently hosts Monday Night Raw, while fans outside the U.S. also receive SmackDown, WWE NXT, and Premium Live Events. PLEs from WWE’s past are also available, as are some (though by no means all) TV broadcasts from WWE history.

WWE’s partnership with Netflix has been a runaway success thus far with the alliance exceeding Khan’s expectations. Now, fans can expect much more content to come in the pipeline.

Top WWE Star Set For Chris Bey Benefit Show Alongside Former AEW Champion

WWE has opened the door for collaborations with other promotions since Triple H took over creative but this new approach will be reaching a whole new level when Karrion Kross appears alongside AEW talents for a show.

Future Stars of Wrestling announced on Twitter that the former NXT Champion will be returning to the company for their March 23 show. The event titled ‘Benefit For Bey’ will be raising funds to assist TNA star Chris Bey after his neck injury last year in October:

The show will also feature multiple top AEW stars in the lineup including former AEW Champion Swerve Strickland and Brian Cage. Other names announced for the event include John Morrison, Rich Swann, Sam Adonis, Rhyno, Ace Austin and more.

Chris Bey suffered the neck injury during last year’s post-Bound For Glory TV tapings. He was competing in a tag team match against The Hardy Boyz while an awkward fall resulted in him having to be stretchered out of the arena.

The 29-year-old star had to undergo emergency surgery for the injury that had left him temporarily paralyzed. He spent a week in ICU after undergoing operation for spinal cord fusion (C6-C7 and C6-T1).

The TNA star provided a positive update on his recovery earlier this month, revealing that he is able to stand up and walk on his own again. Bay still has a long way to go in his recovery. You can check out ways to help the injured star here.

With high-stakes matchups and championship bouts, AEW Revolution is shaping up to be a must-see event.

Unfortunate Reason WWE Booked Stephanie Vaquer vs. Giulia at NXT Roadblock

WWE’s decision to schedule a double championship match between Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer at NXT Roadblock in two weeks appears to be driven by one of the competitors needing time off.

According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, one of the two wrestlers is dealing with an undisclosed injury and requires a break from in-ring competition.

“Without spoiling it, because if I spoil it I spoil the match, one of these women is banged up, needs time off. And so they’re doing the match and then she’s taking time off. So that’s what happened,” Alvarez stated.

Keep reading if you want to know which of them is injured. We’ll put the info below the embedded video.

While the specifics of the injury remain unclear, WWE’s decision to book the match now suggests an effort to adjust plans accordingly.

NXT Roadblock is set to take place in two weeks, with Giulia and Vaquer facing off in a high-stakes double title bout.

NXT Women’s Champion Giulia is dealing with a hand injury and will be taking time off next month.

X-Pac Reveals the NWO’s Secret Influence: ‘The Attitude, Everything, We Jacked It’

For years, fans have debated the origins of the New World Order’s (NWO) iconic swagger—but now, WWE legend X-Pac has finally set the record straight. In a recent interview on No-Contest Wrestling with O’Shea Jackson Jr. and TJ Jefferson, the two-time Hall of Famer revealed that the NWO took heavy inspiration from Ice Cube and Westside Connection during their rise in the Monday Night Wars.

“We stole that sh*t from Westside Connection,” X-Pac admitted. “Bow down when we come to your town—all that sh*t. The attitude, everything, we jacked it.”

During the late ‘90s, both the NWO and Westside Connection embodied an unapologetic, rebellious energy that resonated with fans.

Whether it was Kevin Nash rocking FUBU, Scott Hall throwing up the “Too Sweet,” or the group’s overall streetwise bravado, their presentation mirrored the defiant confidence that Westside Connection brought to hip-hop.

Jackson Jr., whose father Ice Cube founded Westside Connection, immediately recognized the parallels. The moment led to a deeper discussion about how wrestling and hip-hop have been connected for decades—well before the days of WWE collaborating with Bad Bunny or Snoop Dogg.

“You could tell there was a heavy hip-hop influence,” TJ Jefferson added. “The bandanas, the Jordans, the ‘thug life’ attitude—y’all were basically rap stars in wrestling gear.”

X-Pac even recalled a house show at The Forum in Inglewood, CA, where he took that influence to the next level.

“I came out to ‘Gangsta, the Killa, and the Dope Dealer’ at a show in Inglewood,” he said. “When I got backstage, they chewed me out because of the lyrics, but I didn’t care. We were in L.A. It was perfect.”

The NWO’s impact on wrestling is undeniable, but this revelation cements their place in hip-hop history as well.

Without Ice Cube, WCW’s biggest faction might not have had the same edge—a surprising connection that makes both the rap and wrestling worlds even more intertwined.

WWE ID vs AEW Match Announced For GCW Event

Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) has announced a unique matchup for its upcoming No Compadre event on March 29 at Thalia Hall in Chicago. The card will feature AEW’s Megan Bayne facing off against WWE NIL signee Zayda Steel—an uncommon crossover in today’s wrestling landscape.

Bayne, who has been competing in AEW and abroad, brings her powerhouse style to GCW, while Steel, a rising star under WWE’s developmental umbrella, steps into one of her highest-profile matches yet. The bout is particularly notable given that both AEW and WWE are allowing their respective talent to share the ring, a rare occurrence in modern pro wrestling.

While interpromotional matchups have happened in independent wrestling, a decisive finish between talent affiliated with two major wrestling promotions would be unexpected. Regardless of the outcome, this clash marks a significant moment for both competitors and fans alike.

GCW No Compadre will stream live on TrillerTV+ at 8 PM CT.
