Matt Riddle defended his EVOLVE Title against Shane Strickland in a Hardcore Rules match at Saturday’s EVOLVE 108 event in Philadelphia, PA at the 2300 Arena that aired on the WWNLive streaming service.
At the show, Riddle lost the title, which further sparked the rumors that he is headed to WWE or New Japan Pro Wrestling after finishing up his commitments with other wrestling promotions. Riddle would then beat Austin Theory at EVOLVE 109 the next night in a singles match.
Just last week, Riddle confirmed in an interview with SI.com that his next landing spot will likely be with WWE or NJPW. Speaking of this weekend’s EVOLVE shows, we have the outcomes of those matches that took place.
