Pro Wrestling: EVE returned to the Res Gal in London on Saturday night. Saturday 8th saw the all-female promotion host their ‘Maybe Wrestling Will Help’ event in Bethnal Green.
We’re heading into EVE’s biggest part of the year. The SHE-1 tournament will be starting in November and qualifying matches for the tournament are in full swing. WoS, Stardom and Frontline star Bea Priestley faced Kris Wolf in a SHE-1 qualifying bout. Recently featured on the mainstream ITV channel Jetta took on WoS Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray and Sierra Loxton faced WoS star Viper.
Here’s the results from the Maybe Wrestling Will Help show:
- Pro Wrestling EVE Champion Charlie Morgan b. Millie McKenzie – Morgan took the win via Superkick. Rhia O’Reilly challenged Morgan to a title bout on September 29th. Kasey Owens and Charli Evans attacked Morgan, Addy Starr ran out for the save to set up the main event
- Kay Lee Ray b. Jetta – WoS Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray took the win via Swanton Bomb
- Viper b. Sierra Loxton – Viper took the pinfall win after hitting the Viper Driver
- Erin Angel b. Nina Samuels – Angel took the win with a roll-up
- SHE-1 Qualifying Match – Kris Wolf b. Bea Priestley – Wolf took the pinfall win after hitting a Tornado DDT
- Addy Starr and Rhia O’Reilly vs. Kasey Owens and Charli Evans – The bout is no content after Evans puts Addy Starr into drawing pins. Sammii Jayne makes her return and will be part of the title match at Strong Women Style
