PROGRESS World Champion WALTER has set a Championship bout for December 9th. PROGRESS will be heading to the O2 Academy in Sheffield for Chapter 81 on that date.
WALTER took to Twitter and stated that “I will be defending my PROGRESS World Title in Sheffield on December 9th. I have beaten everyone on the roster. Wrestlers around the world: Who wants to fight me on that date? I’ll consider the best challenge and speak with management.”
There’s no names yet confirmed but the phrase “I have beaten everyone on the roster” is rather telling. WWE and PROGRESS are reportedly working together and there is a chance that a star from WWE or NXT makes their way over to the UK for the event, although it isn’t likely.Â
IMPACT’s LAX promotion will also be on hand for the event, they had an incredible bout with CCK at the Coast to Coast tour earlier this year and this will be their UK debut.
