The second episode of UFC’s new weekly show, “UFC Tonight,” drew an average of about 20,000 viewers.
The debut of the show took place on January 3 and scored an average of about 39,000 viewers.
FUEL TV officials caution that the entire cable channel is still a work in progress. After all, FUEL TV averaged only 15,000 viewers in 2011.
“Those numbers will build,” UFC president Dana White recently said. “We’re going to build that network. … As far as our fanbase goes and the amount of content we’re going to have on FUEL TV, people are going to want it, and people are going to demand it.”
