Rev Pro/NJPW British J Cup Day 2 Results from Wrestling MediaCon

Revolution Pro (Rev Pro) finished up their British J Cup tournament yesterday evening. Wrestling MediaCon in Manchester hosted the 2 day event, the Convention is available on FITE.tv for $29.99.

This was the second iteration of the tournament. The debut field in 2017 included Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger, Kushida and Will Ospreay. This year’s tournament took place from the Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Manchester, England on September 8th and 9th.

Liger won the inaugural tournament and he defended his title against the following stars: Rocky Romero, Chris Ridgeway, El Phantasmo, Rich Swann, Tiger Mack IV, Bandido, Dean Allmark, Flamita,  KUSHIDA, Ryusuke Taguchi, David Starr, Kurtis Chapman, Sho, Yoh and Kyle Fletcher.

El Phantasmo b. Jushin Thunder Liger – Phantasmo took the pinfall win via roll up

KUSHIDA b. David Starr – KUSHIDA took the win after hitting the Back To The Future

Non Tournament Bout – CCK (Chris Brookes & Jonathan Gresham) & Chris Ridgeway b. Tiger Mask IV, Ryusuke Taguchi & Dean Allmark – Ridgeway took the win for his team after making Allmark submit

Rich Swann b. Yoh – Swann took the win after hitting a 450 splash

Rocky Romero b. Sho – Romero takes the win with a bridging pin. The two Roppongi 2k stablemates embraced after the match

Non Tournament Bout – Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) b.  Flamita & Bandido – Aussie Open took the pinfall win with the Fidget Spinner

Non Tournament Bout – Ringkampf (Timothy Thatcher & WALTER) b. LAX (Santana & Ortiz) – Ringkampf took the win due to double submission

El Phantasmo b. Rich Swann, Rocky Romero and KUSHIDA – Phantasmo took the win to become the second ever winner of the British J Cup
