Ronda Rousey had a pretty impactful pro wrestling debut at WrestleMania 34 but prior to commencing a pro wrestling career, she had to suffer from 2 dominating UFC loses.
In previous interviews, Rousey had opened up about her losses and the effect they had on her. During a recent Q&A session with Hollywood director Peter Berg at the Wild Card West boxing gym, she once again talked about her UFC defeats.
Ronda said that she did a whole lot of crying after her undefeated streak broke but claimed that time is a great teacher and best things have come from the worst things:
“I did a whole lot of crying, isolating myself, (husband Travis Browne) held me and let me cry and it lasted two years, I couldn’t have done it alone. I had to learn from experience. From the worst things, the best things have come as a result. Time is a great teacher. It’s that belief that time passes, even bad times.”
Ronda Rousey had a 12 fight undefeated streak before it was broken by Holly Holm at UFC 193 via knockout in the second round.
Her second loss came at the hands of Amanda Nunes via TKO in the first round and after this defeat; she left UFC and joined WWE for building a career in Pro Wrestling.
