Scarlett Bordeaux Reportedly Signs With NXT

Scarlett Bordeaux is reportedly on her way to NXT.

Scarlett Bordeaux is reported to have signed with NXT and has been at the WWE Performance Center over the last few days in preparation for her debut.

It was reported this week by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Bordeaux had canceled several independent dates. It was then reported by Squared Circle Sirens that Bordeaux has, in fact, signed with WWE and will be headed to NXT.

“We’re told that while she will wrestle the current plan is for her to be paired with a male NXT star and that her TV debut is coming ‘soon’,” the report reads.

Bordeaux was released from her contract with Impact Wrestling earlier this summer. She is reported to have been at the Performance Center for a tryout in early September.

Bordeaux has previously performed for WWE as well. She dropped a squash match to Nia Jax in 2016. Before the match, Scarlett was interviewed and seemed to imply that Sasha Banks was her hero:

The 28-year-old wrestles out of Chicago and since her release from Impact Wrestling in June has wrestled for promotions such as Joey Ryan’s Bar wrestling, MCW out of Maryland, and she also wrestled for AAA at Triplemania this year in Mexico City. She teamed with Sammy Guevara and challenged for the world mixed tag team titles in a 4-way match won by Lady Maravilla and Villano III Jr.
