A UFC fighter is feuding with a Bellator fighter on TNA TV as former UFC Heavyweight Champion Josh Barnett made his TNA TV debut last night in Orlando and set up a feud with World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley.
Barnett wrestled two matches to air in February on POP TV – against Bad Bones and then a title shot against Lashley.
The match with Lashley ended in controversy as Barnett was first announced the new champion. However, the original referee didn’t see Lashley kick out of the pin. The match was re-started and Lashley won, retaining the championship.
As noted, Barnett does NJPW commentary for AXS TV but is currently serving a USADA suspension from MMA due to a drug test failure from back in December.
