Undefeated heavyweight prospect Shane Del Rosario (11-0), who as recently as this past February called the Strikeforce hexagon home, is now officially wearing UFC colors.
Del Rosario’s manager, Jason House of the Iridium Sports Agency, recently tweeted the scoop. House wrote, “would like to congratulate client Shane Del Rosario on signing with the UFC.”
Neither a date or opponent have been announced for Del Rosario’s Octagon debut, but you can likely expect the former Strikeforce top-contender to fight inside the eight-sided structure in the early portion of 2012.
