The first international edition of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality series has found a broadcast home in the U.S.
“The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil” is an upcoming version of the show that will feature Wanderlei Silva and Vitor Belfort as the coaches.
UFC president Dana White was the first to announce news of the plans.
“Nobody knows this yet, and it’s the first time it’s being told,” White recently stated. “And to be honest with you the deal isn’t 100 percent done yet, but I’m so confident it’s going to happen. … ‘The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil’ will air on Fuel TV. All this unique content that we’re doing in these other parts of the world, Fuel TV is going to take.”
Filming for “TUF: Brazil” is expected to begin next week, while the debut of the show will be on March 25 in Brazil on Globo every Sunday evening.
