There are new stars on top of the NXT Tag Team division and that’s The War Raiders.
Hanson & Rowe were on the cusp of dethroning Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong before as that came back on the October 27th episode of NXT. Their time wasn’t meant to be then as Bobby Fish interfered in the contest with a chair.
That has all changed as the former ROH stars beat O’Reilly & Strong to win the NXT Tag Team Titles at the WWE NXT TakeOver: Phoenix event on Saturday night at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona on WWE’s streaming service.

The rivalry between the teams intensified at TakeOver: WarGames in November during the main event. Now, with a title change, that appears to only be intensifying.
WWE holds NXT TV tapings on Wednesday, January 30th in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University. They put on one heck of a match that delivered and will be fun to see where it goes from here.
