– TNA drew a sellout crowd of 2,500 fans at the live event Friday night in Westbury, NY, making it TNA’s most successful live event in a long time. The main event saw AJ Styles defeat Kurt Angle with Jeff Jarrett as the special referee. A few live reports we’ve read indicate that the in-ring action was alright but TNA held a “meet the wrestlers” autograph session after the show that sent everybody home happy.
– Recently signed TNA tag team the Young Bucks will debut on Thursday’s iMPACT! under the new team name “Generation Me.” For those wondering, the phrase actually describes anyone born in the 1970’s, 1980’s or 1990’s (anyone between the ages of 10 and 40.)
– There has been a lot of talk within TNA lately about the six-sided ring. Various angles have been pitched as ways to get rid of the ring and bring in a traditional four-sided ring, including literally destroying the 6-sided ring during an episode of iMPACT! to explain the change.
