Monday’s 3-hour live edition of TNA iMPACT! featuring the debut of Hulk Hogan drew impressive 2.2 million viewers (a 1.5 rating), making it the most watched episode of iMPACT! in history.
The show opened with a 1.7 rating for the first unopposed hour, TNA’s venture into live Monday night programming. The second hour drew a 1.4 and the final hour did a 1.2.
The highest rated quarter hour of iMPACT! was the start of hour 2, featuring the debut of Hulk Hogan. The segment drew 2.5 million viewers (a 1.9 rating)and went head-to-head against Bret Hart’s return to WWE television, which did a 3.7 rating for that 15-minute period.
