Ric Flair’s Attorney Responds To Wife’s Claims, Hogan Loses In Court Again

– Hulk Hogan’s latest legal efforts to get clips of his sex tape taken offline were shot down on Monday, when a judge ruled that Gawker.com does not have to remove the footage. Judge James D. Whittemore ruled on Monday that Hogan’s latest legal filing offered nothing new from his prior (unsuccessful) attempt to get the video offline.

The judge also stated that Hogan had not demonstrated that there were any grounds for an appeal and there was no proof of “immediate harm.”

– Earlier today, TMZ.com broke the news that Ric Flair’s fourth wife, Jacqueline, has filed for divorce, claiming Flair cheated on her with multiple women and owes her tens of thousands of dollars as a result of their recent separation agreement.

Flair’s attorney has responded to the claims, telling TMZ.com that Flair “denies the claims, contends there was marital and other misconduct on her part, and looks forward to these issues being resolved in court.”

Ric Flair’s Wife Files For Legal Separation, Alleges He Cheated With Numerous Women & Owes Her Big Money

Ric Flair’s fourth wife, Jacqueline, has officially filed for a legal separation from the wrestling legend in Mecklenberg County, North Carolina.

She has accused him of “acts of illicit sexual behavior” and cheated on her regularly throughout their marriage. The legal documents obtained by TMZ.com explain, “Husband has had numerous intimate relationships with other women during the parties’ marriage, to the embarrassment and humiliation of wife.”

She maintains that she was “faithful and dutiful wife” ever since they got married back in 2009.

Not only was Ric Flair allegedly cheating on her with numerous other women, but she claims he’s also screwing her out of tens of thousands of dollars in spousal support. They apparently reached an agreement to separate back in October, with Flair agreeing to pay her $15,000 to cover her legal fees, $4,000 per month in spousal support and $14k in back payments from the time they actually split in July.

She claims Flair owes her over $35,000 in back payments and has not paid her a dime so far. She says Flair should have no problem paying her in full, because he makes more than a $1 million a year.

So far, no comments from Flair’s camp.

Hulk Hogan Named One Of The Least Influential People Of 2012, Preview Thursday’s Impact, Brooke Tessmacher

GQ has named Hulk Hogan as among the twenty-five “Least Influential People of 2012—”a collection of people so uninspiring that we should round them all up and stick them on an iceberg.”

The publication says of the legendary wrestler, “When I was a kid, I wanted to be just like Hulk Hogan. Funny how getting caught banging his best friend’s wife on tape and then finding out that his best friend was allegedly the one taping it has now diminished my admiration. Kudos to Hulk for having a big ol’ dick, though. That thing is thicker than a turnbuckle.”

– TNA has released the following video previewing this Thursday’s Impact Wrestling broadcast featuring a Six Man Tag Team Main Event, Samoa Joe vs. Devon, Kurt Angle vs. D.O.C, and more.

– Daniels and Kazarian’s tag team is now known as Bad Influence.

– X-Division Champion Samoa Joe defeated Kid Kash on Thursday night in a match taped for Xplosion.

– As previously reported, TNA’s announcement that Lockdown is being moved from April to March is a result of the company cutting back on the number of pay-per-views and breaking from the monthly-PPV format. The latest on this situation is that February’s Against All Odds pay-per-view has been scratched, so TNA will have Genesis in January and then Lockdown in March.

It’s believed that TNA will remove more pay-per-views from the calendar as well. No word on whether TNA reducing the frequency of their pay-per-views will result in a price increase for the remaining shows.

TNA Possibly Cutting Back On Pay-Per-Views, Bob Ryder Health Update

http://youtu.be/ImTJEMosx2k

– As announced on Thursday’s Impact Wrestling, TNA Lockdown 2013 will be taking place from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. TNA President Carter commented on Lockdown being hosted from San Antonio next March:

Lockdown taking place in March is a change from previous years, when it was held in April. TNA will certainly benefit from moving one of their biggest shows of the year away from the shadow of WWE’s WrestleMania, there appears to be more to the story. According to PWInsider.com, the move could be a sign that TNA is will be back on their pay-per-view schedule. TNA staffers have been wanting to reduce the number of pay-per-views, but it’s believed that TNA had agreements in place with television carriers that contractually obligated them to hold monthly PPVs.

– Dixie Carter revealed that TNA staffer Bob Ryder has been cleared to return to work after dealing with health issues. She tweeted:

Kharma Interview – Addresses Departure From WWE, Is She Interested In Returning To TNA?, Almost Retiring

Kharma aka Amazing Kong — real name Kia Stevens — breaks her silence on her WWE release for the very first time speaking exclusively to Diva Dirt about her release, her time in WWE, her brief but boundary breaking run there, and much more.

Kharma talks about joining the company which she describes as her dream job, what it was like breaking the mold for Divas, being given a huge platform for her debut, leaving after just one month, competing in the Royal Rumble match, and her departure.

The former Knockouts Champion also discusses her journey to lose weight, pitching a reality series, her return to wrestling at SHINE 5, the current women’s wrestling scene and whether she’s had talks with TNA about returning.

The full interview is available here.

Highlights:

On being offered a job by WWE in December 2010: “I did not see it coming. I was actually about 14 days away from announcing my retirement in wrestling. I got a call. I’ll never forget, I was sick with a cold and I got a call from Tommy Dreamer and he asked if he could give my number to John Laurinaitis. And I said, ‘Um, yeah!’ Five minutes later I got a call from John Laurinaitis who spoke with me and offered me a position at WWE. I don’t think I closed my mouth for a good 20 days.”

On her WWE release: “Sometimes things aren’t moving along as quickly as they need to be, and some things weren’t progressing as quickly as they should have been. I think the release was actually a good idea and very appropriate. WWE, the world knows they don’t just hire anyone. If they hire you, they’re going to invest in you. They’re going to apply any and every resource they have for anything that you’re going through, so having said that, again, the timing just was there. My release was, in my opinion, appropriate.”

On whether she would return to TNA: “I do appreciate the opportunities I was given by TNA, Dixie Carter and Terry Taylor. I appreciate my time there, it was good… until it wasn’t. [Laughs] No [communication] whatsoever with them. I’m very grateful, they’re the ones that introduced me to the US market, but that time is gone.”

Christopher Daniels Interview: His Curry Man Gimmick, His Rivalry With AJ Styles

Christopher Daniels spoke with Kayfabe Wrestling Radio Tuesday Night in nearly 25 minute interview. Here are some highlights.

On his Curry Man character and if he was worried about it getting over in the US: “Well, first, allow me to clarify; it was never me as Curry Man, it was always a young man known as Kiyoshi. That’s always been a misconception that people have had. So, let’s put that to rest, right away. Second of all, bringing Curry Man to the US, I wasn’t … The reason I thought it wouldn’t get over was that most of the gags in the States was that everyone knew it was me. So I didn’t know if that was going to play in the States. And then, at the time I really wasn’t letting loose with it the way I was letting loose with it in TNA and so I think I put a little more comedy in it than I was going to do because when I was doing it in Japan; like I would do the dance, I would dance to the ring, I would do all the silly stuff but once the bell rang, I would really just wrestle because it was Michinoku Pro, it was New Japan. There wasn’t really a lot of comedy or a lot of ‘Ha Ha’ going on and so the thing that Curry Man did for me there was it made me stand out in terms of my presentation; but as far as the wrestling, they really wanted the wrestler under the hood. It didn’t really matter, you know, the look, but the stuff in the ring is what they wanted.

“Now, when TNA came around, or the idea came around to bring Curry Man to TNA, it needed to be more of a presentation and more of a character than just a guy going out and wrestling. So, I think that’s why I thought it wasn’t going to get over as well as it did and I’m glad I was wrong. I still, to this day, get people talking about Curry Man; for a character that hasn’t wrestled, technically, since 2008. So, it’s cool to think that that part of my career is still respected and enjoyed and it’s awesome.”

His thoughts on his upcoming ‘One Last Time’ match with AJ Styles at Final Resolution and their longstanding rivalry: “Well, my lord, if there’s any other rivalry that’s been going on as long as me and AJ, I’d like to know who it is. Honestly, we talk about it, half-jokingly, like ‘Holy Cow, we’re wrestling each other again?!’ But, it’s just a testament to, I guess, our chemistry and the fact that the fans, despite the fact we’ve been doing it pretty much non-stop for a year to a year and a half, we’re still finding ways to make it different, make it new for the fans; and that’s the challenge for us. I was actually talking to somebody and they told me that they figured out that AJ and I have wrestled 114 singles matches in our career, and that’s to date. At this point now, I’m sure that this weekend I have live events in North Dakota , and I’m almost 100% sure that will be 115, 116, and 117, you know? TNA is going to get as many as many times out of it as they can before the “last time”. But, I just think our challenge is to make it new; the matches that we had this year, I’ve been real happy with: The Last Man Standing at Destination X, the Tag team matches we had with me and Frankie versus him and Kurt, you know the Bound for Glory Series match that we had on television. And here’s a chance to sort of end this rivalry the place where it started and see where it goes. I think it’s going to be cool; I think the fans are going to be entertained and I’m interested to see where we go from here.”

Being part of the stars from the UPW (John Cena, Daneils, Kazarian, Samoa Joe), the training videos, and if he’s surprised at the level of success they all have obtained: “Well, I was never surprised talent wise, but, I mean, so many times especially in an objective business like this, where talent doesn’t necessarily equal success; I’m happy that we all have the opportunities and caught the breaks that we did. I mean, we could have easily fallen through the cracks, especially living out in Southern California, you know, where it’s sort of tough to break pas the independent level just because there’s so little actual big time independents going on out there and it’s hard to make your name on that level out here and break out to the point where people are flying you to the East Coast and flying you overseas. It’s a testament to guys like Frankie Kazarian and Joe and other guys on the West Coast; guys like Joey Ryan, who’s just recently come into TNA for the first time. You know, it’s a testament to their talent that they’ve broken through especially now when it’s so tough in independent wrestling to catch hold and catch fire. So, I wasn’t surprised by that, I was just happy the breaks we caught were good breaks.”

If he would ever want to be on Dancing with the Stars: “Oh sure, especially when I had that wacky mask back in the day. You know, I follow my good friend Velvet Sky on Twitter and I know that she was campaigning pretty hard to be on the current season or the last season and you know, if a hot chick like that can’t get on, what chance do I have? But, I have to be realistic and say if Velvet can’t make it, no one wants to see me in a leotard. For crying out loud, they can see that on Thursday nights. But I promise, if I get on Dancing with the Stars, I will keep the bell bottom tights!”

Sarita Discusses Bodybuilding and Wrestling In Mexico, “Final Resolution” Video Preview

– Tomorrow in Mexico, Sarita vies for her seventh consecutive victory in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre’s annual bodybuilding contest. Speaking to Jim Varsallone of The Miami Herald, the internationally acclaimed wrestler discussed her training routine for the competition.

“I train throughout the year, but about 12 weeks out from the competition, I start to change my diet and increase the intensity of my workouts,” said Sarita, who is 5-6 and 120-pounds. “It’s a lot of chicken, eggs, fish, beef, vegetables, and some oatmeal and little fruit. I start to do more plyometrics, push-ups and jumping and do more high-intensity interval training. I also continue to train wrestling so that my body adjusts, and I’m able to remain agile and balanced in the ring as I’m dropping weight.”

While training for the competition, Sarita maintains her wrestling career, which also includes traveling, training and carrying food on every road trip. She looks at it as a challenge.

“Weeks before, everyone’s talking about their diets and comparing bodies. We are wrestlers, not bodybuilders, so it’s an interesting challenge trying to reach your body’s potential while dealing with traveling, wrestling, training and carrying food with you on every road trip. Everyone looks at the contest as a way to get into great shape and show dedication to our fans, to the sport and to CMLL,” said Sarita.

The full article is available here. She does not address her TNA Wrestling status in the interview.

– TNA Wrestling has released its promotional advertisement for Final Resolution, which takes place on Sunday, December 9 live on pay-per-view and online via TNAOnDemand.com. Jeff Hardy will defend the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Bobby Roode at the event.
