— It was noted by some TNA Wrestling employees Sunday night how good Sacrifice was without Eric Bischoff, Dixie Carter and Hulk Hogan’s last-minute involvement. All three individuals were not on hand for the annual pay-per-view event.
There is speculation behind the scenes that TNA star Matt Morgan will be leaving the company soon to return to WWE.
Morgan’s TNA contract does not expire until October, but it states that Morgan was obligated to make a certain number of appearances for TNA – which he has already completed. It’s believed that once his contractual obligations were met, he would become a free agent and legally could jump to WWE.
Matt Morgan has stated in various interviews that he loves TNA and does feel some loytalty to them, but WWE has sent out feelers to him and he would have a hard time turning down a chance to return to the ‘big leagues’ if the chance presented itself.
– Dixie Carter tweeted a nasty photo of Austin Arie back after Sacrifice, which you can view here.
– Kurt Angle tweeted after Sacrifice that his knee was banged up and he was going to ice it.
– TNA is teasing that Rob Van Dam was injured at Sacrifice, which may be used as a storyline at tonight’s Impact tapings. The belief is that RVD wasn’t seriously injured in the Ladder Match against Bobby Roode, but both men were hurting afterwards.
– TNA has announced details of the company’s January 2013 UK Tour:
* 1/21 – Dublin, Ireland
* 1/23 – Glasgow, Scottland
* 1/24 – Nottingham, England
* 1/25 – Manchester, England
* 1/26 – London, England
The 1/26 show from London, England will be an Impact double television taping from the Wembly Arena.
– Neither Dixie Carter or Eric Bischoff were backstage at Sacrifice.
– Kazarian and Daniels defeated and Magnus and Samoa Joe at Sacrifice to capture the TNA Tag Team Titles.
– While he didn’t win the Television Title at last night’s Sacrifice pay-per-view, Rob Terry won the OVW Heavyweight Title at OVW’s Saturday Night Special event this weekend.

TNA sources indicate that Roode is scheduled to hold the title until James Storm returns.

Irvine planned the entire wedding and left his bride-to-be with only one job: to show up looking “as beautiful as she always does.” He tweeted on Wednesday:
“My total surprise wedding for [Gail] is almost done, she has no knowledge of what’s going on and I am surprising her.”
Gail Kim tweeted the following about her big day:
“I’m the luckiest girl in the world. Now I know what little girls dream of.”
Several other celebrity chefs attended the wedding, including Masaharu Morimoto, Guy Fieri, Michael Chiarello and Melissa d’Arabian. Both Mirimoto and Guy Fieri cooked multiple dishes for the wedding reception.

– During Thursday’s press conference & media conference call regarding MMA fighter Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal signing with TNA, TNA President Dixie Carter was asked about whether Batista could join TNA as part of the new agreement with Bellator to feature wrestlers and MMA fighters under the Spike TV.
Carter said Batista was a “great talent and great wrestling talent,” but said she was only willing to discuss Lawal joining TNA and Bellator.
As previously reported, Batista has been rumored to be signing with Bellator MMA, which would create an interesting scenario for Batista possibly being affiliated with TNA.
– Also at the press conference announcing King Mo’s signing with TNA & Bellator MMA, SpikeTV President Kevin Kay spoe about the decision to move iMPACT! Wrestling’s start time an hour earlier to to 8PM ET. He said the reason was because there is a bigger available audience at 8PM ET vs. 9PM ET. He also added that TNA wants to avoid competing with the NFL once the season starts.
He did not say if Bellator will begin airing after iMPACT! on Thursdays next year once Bellator moves to SpikeTV.
Hulk Hogan recently reacted to Scott Steiner’s Twitter rants about Eric Bischoff, saying he has no idea why Steiner is so upset with him – but it might be because Steiner is unhappy with his life and now relegated to wrestling independent shows. [Listen Here].

Furthermore, three TNA Wrestling stars who succumbed to Brock Lesnar during his rise to the top of WWE—Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle and Hogan —were shown in a series of video packages on the April 23 Raw SuperShow.
Sunday on Facebook, “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero slammed Marty Jannetty online again for carelessly striking Balls Mahoney with a chair during a match for independent wrestling promotion Pro Wrestling Syndicate in March. The TNA Wrestling star wrote, “Have anyone heard from Marty Chairnetty??? You know, the guy that single handily almost did in one night to Balls Mahoney what sex, drugs, and ECW couldn’t do in 20yrs; End His Freaking Career!?!??
“Well, If ya hear from the coon, let’em know that Pope is out of semi retirement for the moment and is hoping that he grow some balls, head to Orlando, do what Pope won’t do, and that’s kiss Hogan’s @ss, and beg for the opportunity to show up on iMPACT WRESTLING OFN and call Pope out. Hopefully he’s dressed in his 1980’s Rockers attire, otherwise Pope may not recognize him! ~ PHS.”
Jannetty caught wind of Dinero’s comments and posted a rebuttal on Wednesday via Facebook.
The former WWE Superstar wrote: “Someone get this word over to big mouth Elijah “The Dope” Burke . it’s really quite simple..take a look at the suicide dive over the top rope on Jerry Lynn(photo below)..Jerry Lynn is one hella competitor, so I brought my A+ game to that match..it took a lot out of me and out of Jerry but,the crowd of 1300 were on their feet cheering BOTH of us on as the match progressed..we gave everything we had in the ring, neither of us had much energy left to walk back to the dressing room, where we were met with a standing ovation. and word in the streets is people have been talking about it ever since..Here’s the thing you need to think about Mr Burke.. I like Jerry he’s a friend, I like Mahoney, he’s a friend(he just couldnt keep up the blistering pace) what that means to you Elijah Butts(whatever your name is this week), things in the ring with you will be a whole hella lot different..now, if you got any “Balls” like your boy Mahoney..stop talking shit and get in the ring with me. “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero continues to target Marty Jannetty for carelessly striking Balls Mahoney with a chair during a match for Pro Wrestling Syndicate in March.
Dinero wrote on Facebook, “Have anyone heard from Marty Chairnetty??? You know, the guy that single handily almost did in one night to Balls Mahoney what sex, drugs, and ECW couldn’t do in 20yrs; End His Freaking Career!?!??
“Well, If ya hear from the coon, let’em know that Pope is out of semi retirement for the moment and is hoping that he grow some balls, head to Orlando, do what Pope won’t do, and that’s kiss Hogan’s @ss, and beg for the opportunity to show up on iMPACT WRESTLING OFN and call Pope out. The infrequently seen TNA Wrestling star returned to action at last week’s live events in California, his first appearances since January. Before appearing at Friday’s show in Ontario, he lampooned his lengthy sabbatical, writing, “Welp, here comes Da Pope!” Guess Pope better head downstairs to the basement, find, dust off, and clean his Pope gear.”
Scott Steiner is back with some more epic reading material – revealing new details about Eric Bischoff’s involvement in the Gold Club Atlanta strip club scandal. Steiner talks about Eric Bischoff and his wife talking strippers to a hotel for some late night activities – and the only reason this information got out is because Bischoff is a bad tipper:
“Bitchoff also said in interview Im going thru a mid-life crisis and im a drug abuser,pretty stupid statement.
Since his business partner Hogan recently did a sex video and hes over 60,and hogan testified under Oath that he did steroids,WTF bitchoff how stupid are you,in these interviews you cant deny What Ive been saying,so you say stupid shit and bury yourself and Hogan.
Havent had a chance to post 609bitchoffs testimony yet,but since Ive been getting alot of tweets Back wanting to know about it,Again 609 is the last sequence in his docket # 1:19-CR-609 and he Testifies under oath that he and his wife go to the Gold Club and pick up a stripper and take her To a hotel,he watches his wife have lesbian sex with the stripper and then he joins them,but the best But the best part is reading his testimony and you can see what a weasle he is.
Also in reading his testimony you find out the only way he gets caught is he gave the stripper a Bullshit tip,and she gets pissed goes back to the Gold Club tells her boss what he tipped her. He then goes into the register and gives her a bigger tip…….BUSTED..if he would have just gave her a Good tip her boss wouldnt have gone into the register,the FBI was watching all transactions.
I betcha 609bitchoff whos always bragging about how much money he has,wishes he would have gave her A better tip,that must drive you nuts at night,knowing that if you werent such a cheap-ass you could Have avoided all this embarrassment,Hey Eric when you explain lesbian sex to 609garrett And your daughter can you have a fan videotape it,I think this is just the fan participation that hogan was Talking about.
This was another reason why I left,I wasnt going to watch a low-life low-class piece of shit like you run Tna into the ground like you did WCW,Trust me I’m just getting started…FUCK U. 609 Save Tna.”
After selling his previous home for $6.2 million earlier this year (down from the original $25 million asking price), Hulk Hogan and his new wife Jennifer have purchased a 5,000-square-foot home in north Clearwater Beach for $3.3 million.
Built in 2009 and located at 1040 Eldorado Ave., the home and has an elevator, fireplace, pool and two spas and looks out on an open expanse of secluded gulf beachfront.

Mickie James spoke to Mike Buda of SportstownChicago.com promoting her match on June 30 against Melina at the Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. During the interview, the multi-time women’s champion commented on whether she would consider returning to WWE.
“In this business, it’s not one of those things where you can never say never. Right now, I’m having a great time at TNA and I’ve been enjoying it. I can’t say anytime soon,” she said.
James also addressed TNA Wrestling’s Knockouts division.
“We have a very strong division. The only difference is the style and the types of matches and the length of the matches that we have. It’s a rarity when a woman can main event the show and I’ve been fortunate enough to do that. I’m very blessed to be looked at as equal as someone who can hold that level at the end of the show. It’s an honor. We have Sarita, who’s very well known in Mexico and a main star in the Knockouts roster. Everybody is a little bit different,” she said.
Scott Steiner is getting ready to up the ante in his ongoing war of words with Eric Bischoff, threatening to reveal details about Bischoff’s sworn testimony in the Gold Club trial that Bischoff was embroiled in back in 2001. Here’s the latest from Big Poppa Pump:
“There you are u little b—h,bn tweeting for 4 wks now n u decide to respond when i tweeted About being at a Shoneys To Go Grand Opening….Really….Im playing poker with you and ive already told you what my hand is and the significance of 609,and the shoneys tweet Brought u out of yur hole,first off if you want to call anybody a drug abuser look no further than yur son… 609Garrett was a 140 lb non-athletic p—y in highschool,but as everybody can see he can take Everything under the sun but it hasnt improved his athletic ability,the apple doesnt fall far from the tree
Let me educate u on Shoneys,first off this wasnt a paid appearance,i was there on behalf of my friend Of 18 yrs who purchased the Shoneys Brand 6 yrs ago for around $300 million,and its no Longer a greasy fast food joint as u suggest,you would have known this if u ever went to the Tna offices Bcuz Shoneys corporate offices are also in Nashville,but as you like to brag your too high class and make Too much money to eat at a place like that,well the # 609 suggests you aint high class at all00
So for everybody that has bn tweeting me back asking what is the significance of 609 and why Chant 609 when either b—hoff enters the ring,is bcuz 609 is part of a larger # that eric owns n now Garrett is going to have to live with, The full sequence is 1:19-CR-609 and its represents b—hoffs docket # when he testified under oath In Atlanta’s Gold Club trial… More later on his exact testimony which is very revealing and humurous bcuz it shows what a Weasle he is,which i will also post on my website
b—hoff u need to worry about the crowds that Tna is drawing since u 3 assholes have taken control… 2,500 ppl were at the last ppv in nashville,the home base of Tna and alot of those were freebee’s, b—hoff cant deny anything that i tweeted about bcuz its all true,so hes trying to change the focus Saying im to old slow & boring..really check out the Ring ka King footage… That i didnt want to move over for the younger guys,all i did was try to elevate guys and pass the torch… Ask any wrestler better yet look at the tape,im not a mark like hogan and have to have creative control Bcuz ppl dont care who wins or loses,they want to be entertained,hogan living in his fantansy world Actually believes hes winning
Trust me b—hoff ,u and hogan are about to find out im the last guy you should have f–kd with… Your going to find out that payback is a b—h,both mentally n physically right now im FF’n with Your mind,and i will see u both again,and you will see how ruthless i can be,believe that”
Speaking to Emmy nominated entertainment reporter Chris Van Vliet of WOIO in Cleveland, Ohio, Mick Foley was asked why he left TNA Wrestling last year.
“In my three years with Total Nonstop Action, I think exactly one person said, ‘Hey, you’re that guy from TNA.’ I’m a WWE guy. I went away from home for a while. There was no question. I was never one of those guys who said I’m never going back. I enjoyed my time away, but it’s still home.”
The Hardcore Legend was also asked about Brock Lesnar returning to WWE and his Extreme Rules match against John Cena.
“Oh, God,” Foley said. “I’ve watched a lot of pay-per-view and it had a room full of people who have watched a lot of pay-per-views reacting in a way that was completely different than anything I’ve seen before. It was really shocking. It was very dramatic.
“Honestly, I wish they would have stopped it. I think John Cena was hurt bad enough that they should have stopped it. I think it would have been an ending unlike anything I’ve ever seen in WWE – an early stoppage of a match due to injury.”
Foley said he was backstage at WrestleMania XXVIII and thought Undertaker vs. Triple H was the best match of the evening. He also noted received a standing ovation from wrestlers in the backstage area after his Mr. Socko and Cobra segment with Santino Marella at the Royal Rumble. Other topics broached include his comedy tour and WWE promoting his book unexpectedly.
