To view Mulrenin’s exclusive photo gallery, head over to Paul Heyman’s HeymanHustle.com. When the Giants defeated the 49ers, Hardy tweeted:

“Wow, what a game! @RebySky is so happy that she’s out of breath & shedding tears of joys. The Giants are going to the Super Bowl.”

The emotional Reby simply tweeted:

“Words can’t describe… #GIANTS #superbowl”

“Reby is now concentrating on her career as a professional wrestler,” Mulrenin noted. “Matt’s getting his legal issues addressed, and continues to train Reby, who seems to really love being in the ring!”

Beefcake Says “TNA Doesn’t Want To Win”, Linda’s Allegations

Former WWE & WCW wrestler Brutus Beefcake was interviewed by Daniel Donnelly of Imetawrestler.com this week and had some very interesting comments to say about Hulk Hogan’s feelings about TNA (and TNA “not wanting to win”), Linda Hogan’s allegations that he and Hulk had a homosexual relationship, whether he expects to get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and more. Here are some highlights of what Beefcake said about:

Hulk’s feelings about TNA: “He was trying to help them. In my opinion, they seemed to want to make a difference at first, but then it seemed like they just didn’t want to win. Hulk’s a guy who wants to make a difference and wants to win, you know? And once he realized that they didn’t want to win, and all they want to do is make an event and have a little piece of the little corner of the market and be satisfied with that, he’s just had to say, ‘Okay, if that’s what you want then that’s what you’re gonna get.’ It doesn’t look good, but I wish him the best.”

Differences between today’s wrestlers and his generation: “It’s more like an assembly line, they’re turning out wrestlers like rubber stamps out of a mold, and that’s not how we were all made. It just made that difference. People had their own personalities, guys were able to differentiate, and everybody was their own person. Scripts weren’t handed out before the shows, people weren’t told what to say, told what to do, told how to wrestle, told how to talk, told how to walk, told what they were supposed to look like and how to comb their hair. There was none of that. Everyone was an individual, everyone was drawing on their own personal skills and knowledge, and everything was genuine.”

Linda’s allegations: “It’s really sad. I’ve known Linda a long time and it’s really sad. You know, I’m not a hater, Hulk’s not a hater, he doesn’t hate his ex-wife. He wants to move on with his life, and for her to come forward with these ridiculous allegations that he had beat her up and things like that, you know, after several years of the divorce and all the trials and the transcripts, there’s never been a mention of anything. There’s never been a phone call to the police, never been a report of a bruise or anything, and for her to come forward now and say that he abused her, and then to come forward and say that he was a homo with his best friend Brutus who he grew up with, is so ridiculous. Anyone who knows us, knows that it’s so ridiculous that it’s not even remotely believable. It’s such a shame that she had to stoop, she got money and she should just go away.”

Could Brutus be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year? “I hope so. I’m not really sure why Vince hasn’t done it. They’ve called me for different things beyond the internet, for their Wrestlemania, they’ve put me in their magazines, so I’m not really sure what problems may be between us. But you know, he’s always taken back everybody else whose really done some dastardly things to him, and I can’t understand for the life of me why he wouldn’t wanna put me in the Hall of Fame.”

Working out over the years: “I started working out nearly forty years ago with The Hulkster down in Florida, back when I was a teenager. Hulk and I have been training together throughout all these years… and that discipline of steel, you might call it, meant we always made it to the gym. We put the gym first, before going to the bar, before going out, chasing girls or any of that stuff. We always put that time in the gym first.”

Video: Hulk Hogan Calls Out Sting For TNA’s UK Tour

TNA star Hulk Hogan posted a video to Twitter on Thursday night, calling out Sting for a confrontation at TNA’s upcoming tour of the UK. Hogan, who was out with longtime associates Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Brutus Beefcake and The Nasty Boys, had this to say to Sting:

Hogan later responded to a fan who questioned his sobriety in the video, saying that he was the only one that was not drinking alcohol.

Sting Releases YouTube Video, Match Announced For AAO, More

— “The Icon” Sting has made his official debut to social media on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. He welcomes Stingers from across the world with the following message:

— The official Facebook page of Impact Wrestling has announced that Crimson and Matt Morgan will defend the World Tag Team Championship against Magnus and Samoa Joe on February 12, 2012 at Against All Odds.

— Rosita is advertised to appear at the Steel City Con, which takes place March 2-4, 2012 at the Monroeville Convention Center in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.

— The cast of Ring Ka King are presently in India to tape thirteen episodes for the promotion, which debuts on Colors on January 28, 2012. Angelina Love is working the current set of tapings. She replaces Mickie James, who worked last month’s set.

Velvet Sky Interested In “Beautiful” Reunion, Talks Internet

Velvet Sky indicated in an interview promoting TNA Wrestling’s upcoming tour of the United Kingdom that she would be interested in a “Beautiful People” reunification with Angelina Love. When asked by Zoo Today if there will be a reunion, she responds, “You can never say never in wrestling, hint hint TNA creative.

“Don’t get me wrong I am enjoying my run just now as a singles competitor. When we were a group that was one of the best times I’ve had. Angelina and I, and she’ll agree, we’ve just had this amazing chemistry, especially when we were doing promos and talking.

“I feel like we were made for that role and Madison Rayne was a great fit to the group when she joined. You know it’s a lot harder for female acts to make an impact in the wrestling world. At the time of the Beautiful People we were confident it would work, but surprised to the extent of its success where we really connected with the fans. You couldn’t have just thrown any two people together to create the Beautiful People. A special bond and on-screen chemistry made it work and so successful.”

Sky was also asked about the impact of the Internet on the professional wrestling industry. She feel it’s fantastic for fan interaction but that wrestling news outlets are damaging. She cites a recent report.

“Aside from the positives from the likes of Twitter and Facebook, the internet in general has had quite a negative effect on the business,” she says.

“Some people report false information on professional wrestling and those in the industry, just so they can have a story. It was reported that the onscreen persona of Karen Jarrett and her negative dialogue of me was what TNA officials thought of me. That is complete and utter bullshit! It is just false. This is just a small example of how the internet can have a negative effect on wrestling and affect my character.”

She continues, “I laugh at it more than anything. It’s just frustrating because I have worked so hard to try and keep a good name for myself in this business. Don’t get me wrong as I said the likes of Twitter and Facebook have also had a positive effect because it has helped tremendously with fan interaction. Before social networking fans could only interact with us through autograph signings and events like that. But now with a click of a button fans can get in touch with us and that’s a great thing for us too.

The Knockout also discusses the direction of women’s wrestling in TNA, what she looks for in a man, her interests outside of the ring, whether she aspired to be a professional wrestler growing and more. The interview is available here.

Maryse Comments On Leaving WWE, Whether She Will Join TNA

Maryse Ouellet says her desire for “bigger and bigger things” in her career prompted her decision to part ways with WWE.

She tells Radar Online, “I have aspirations and there’s other stuff I want to work on, so I decided to go. That and for the simple fact that I didn’t want to be with the WWE for 25 years. I was there six years, I had my run, I wanted bigger and better things.”

The former Divas Champion was also asked why she said in a recent interview that she would not be joining TNA Wrestling.

“I decided to leave wrestling for other aspirations I have. I’m not going to go to TNA, I’m loyal to WWE — it wouldn’t make any sense!” she says.

Ouellet also discusses what she liked best about wrestling, Snooki competing last year at WrestleMania and more. The interview is available here.

*SPOILERS* TNA Impact Wrestling Results For Tonight

TNA Impact Wrestling

TNA taped the January 19th episode of Impact Wrestling this week from Orlando on Monday and Tuesday nights. Here are the full results from both tapings, courtesy of SEScoops.com reader Eric:

Taped Monday:

* Gunner defeated AJ Styles. Ric Flair was in Gunner’s corner. Gunner tried to DDT AJ on the concrete after the match but he escaped.

* Crimson defeated Magnus. After the match, Samoa Joe attacked Crimson and they beat him down until Matt Morgan made the save. Joe and Magnus got the best of Morgan quick and laid him out.

* James Storm comes out to talk about being the new #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Title. Jeff Hardy comes out and says he deserves another shot after Bully Ray screwed him in the rematch. They argue about who deserves a title shot. Security breaks them up and Bobby Roode appears. Roode says there was no winner of the match last week so Storm can’t be the #1 contender. Sting comes out and announces Hardy vs. Storm tonight with the winner facing Roode for the title at Against All Odds.

Taped Tuesday:

* They re-taped the segment from Monday night with James Storm, Jeff Hardy and Sting.

* Eric Young beat Angelina Love by DQ when Angelina kicked him below the belt. Winter and Angelina jumped EY after the match until ODB made the save.

* Austin Aries came out and cut a promo about how he’s better than everyone. Alex Shelley returns from injury and talks about his partner Chris Sabin. Shelley wants a title shot at Aries. Aries tells Shelley to find a warm-up partner. Shelley declares he will be the next X Division Champion.

* James Storm and Jeff Hardy’s #1 contender match ended in a No Contest when Bully Ray hit the referee with a chain. Ray then laid out Hardy and Storm with the chain. Earl Hebner came out and got attacked too. Ray kept laying officials out until Sting came down with a bat, hit him and sent him to the back. Bobby Roode came to the ring and decked Hardy and Storm with the belt.

Flair-HOF Update, Top Talent On TNA UK Tour, Geneiss Buyrate

– Ric Flair says he’ll be on stage to accept his second WWE Hall of Fame induction, but some people in the industry are speculating TNA has the legal right to sue WWE since they are using a contracted TNA performer to draw ticket sales and DVD sales for the Hall of Fame ceremony. There is still no word yet as to whether TNA will pursue any legal action, but it’s possible TNA could try to get a cash settlement out of WWE in order to use & promote Flair.

– TNA has confirmed that Hulk Hogan, Sting and Kurt Angle will be appearing at all of the company’s shows in England later this month, including the first-ever Impact from the UK.

– After the UK Impact tapings later this month, TNA has no plans to tape on the road at least through the end of May.

– The preliminary PPV buyrate for TNA Genesis is around 10-12,000 buys, which is on the high end of what TNA events usually do.

– Eric Bischoff and Jason Hervey’s production company recently had a new sitcom picked up by Nick At Night. “Daddy’s Home” will star actor Scott Baio of “Charles In Charge” fame.

Daffney Posts Update On Her Workers’ Comp Claim Against TNA

Shannon Spruill (a/k/a Daffney) says she is proceeding with her workers’ compensation claim against TNA Wrestling stemming from injuries she sustained while working for the organization in 2009 and 2010.

“Great day today. Just wanted to let everybody know that the Workers’ Comp Claim is going well. Although it’s been a long road, I continue to keep my head up. Hoping for some good results,” she tweeted Tuesday.

Spruill stated last March immediately following her departure from TNA Wrestling that she had filed a workers’ compensation claim against the organization. There were issues between Spruill and management regarding her medical expenses being covered after she suffered a concussion taking a bump through a board covered with barbed wire at the October 18, 2009 pay-per-view event Bound for Glory.

Creative writer Vince Russo and former Director of Talent Relations Terry Taylor pressured Spruill into performing the spot, reasoning that it was important for the ongoing feud between Abyss and Mick Foley. Spruill, who was hesitant on the idea, was assured that she would be fine. She suffered a concussion taking the maneuver and was taken to an Orlando, Florida area hospital via ambulance. Spike TV wouldn’t allow TNA to air the spot during the following episode of iMPACT! due to their policy on men-on-women violence.

Spruill’s emergency room visit resulted in a substantial medical bill, which Taylor stalled TNA from paying and ultimately was not. She also claimed she was pressured to continue performing after suffering two additional concussions. She suffered a concussion after being hit on the head with a toolbox by Tara following their match on the February 18, 2010 episode of iMPACT!. On April 20, 2010, she was injured in a dark match against an obese inexperienced worker named Miss Betsy and was taken to an Orlando area hospital, where she was diagnosed with a concussion, as well as a deeply bruised sternum and a severe stinger.

Three Wrestlers Removed From Impact Wrestling’s Roster Page

ImpactWrestling.com has removed Jackie Moore, Jesse Neal and Toxxin from their wrestler roster page. This would confirm their respective departures from TNA Wrestling late last year.

Moore stated on November 28, 2011 via Twitter that she parted ways with TNA Wrestling due to her contract expiring. She returned to the company last June alongside ODB under the guise of outsiders, with the duo promising to clean up the Knockouts division. In August, Moore and ODB abandoned their villainous antics in order to gain contracts with the promotion. After several weeks of working as babyfaces, they were signed to contracts by the new head of the Knockouts division, Karen Jarrett. Moore, however, did not appear for TNA again.

Neal made his final TNA appearance on the December 15, 2011 episode of Impact Wrestling, where he was DDT’d onto concrete floor by Gunner and consequently stretchered out of the Impact Wrestling Zone. Neal parted ways with TNA after organization officials asked him to relocate from Florida to Louisville, Kentucky to further his wrestling training in Ohio Valley Wrestling. He was unable to comply with their request because the money they were offering “wasn’t even anything close to live on.”

Toxxin is Neal’s real-life girlfriend, who was brought in September to combat Rosita and Sarita in Ink Inc.’s feud with Mexican America. Neal stated during a podcast interview that Toxxin, who appears as Christina Von Eerie on the independent wrestling circuit, was never under contract to the organization. Her departure was expected after Neal parted ways with TNA.

Sting Addresses Rumors He Is Retiring This Year

TNA star Sting, who joined Twitter last week, was asked by his followers if he is really planning on retiring in 2012. Sting channeled Mark Twain for his response:

“Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.”

Just last week, TNA President Dixie Carter told the UK’s Daily Star magazine the following about Sting looking to retire this year:

“In his mind, I think this is his last year as far as the wrestling is concerned. When we booked this, that’s the way he was talking about it – ‘I haven’t played there in a decade, and before I retire I need to come back there and wrestle.’ Based on where he’s at and what he’s saying, barring something extraordinary this is the last time.”

“And for me it’s great to be able to bring him back there. He’s spent such a big part of his career helping to build our company, I’m very proud we can bring him over. It feels very final. It’s going to be an emotional night.”

Kurt Angle Says WWE Is Trying To Sign Him

Kurt Angle claims WWE was trying to sign him for the Royal Rumble but that he was remaining loyal to TNA.

Angelina Love Hopes To Get Belt Soon, Sarita Returns To Ring

— Angelina Love, who holds the record for most TNA Women’s Knockout Championship reigns with five, hopes to add another reign to her supreme record.

“Deff hoping soon!” she tweeted in response to when she will get another championship run.

Love has not held the title since dropping it to Tara on October 10, 2010. Once arguably the company’s premiere female star, Love ended 2011 in a slump. She has not won a televised singles match in over seven months—her last victory taking place at the May 30, 2011 Impact Wrestling taping. Her television role was also deemphasized in favor of Gail Kim, Madison Rayne, Mickie James, Velvet Sky and Winter. However, a return to prominence could be on the horizon as she competed in three matches at this week’s television tapings in Orlando, Florida—following almost two months of inactivity.

— Sarita competed in a tag team match at Friday’s Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre event in Mexico City, Mexico, her first bout since taking a scary fall during a two out of three falls tag team match on November 22, 2011. According to TheCubsFan.com, she looked fine during the match.

Meanwhile, Sarita was left off this week’s TNA television tapings.

Dixie Carter On Her Relationship With Hogan, Sting’s Retirement

During an interview with the UK’s Daily Star magazine to promote TNA’s upcoming Impact Taping from the Wembley Arena later this month, TNA President Dixie Carter revealed some interesting details on her relationship with Hulk Hogan and Sting’s plans for retirement this year. Here are some highlights of what Dixie said about:

Sting Retiring This Year & His Final UK Appearance:

“In his mind, I think this is his last year as far as the wrestling is concerned. When we booked this, that’s the way he was talking about it – ‘I haven’t played there in a decade, and before I retire I need to come back there and wrestle.’ Based on where he’s at and what he’s saying, barring something extraordinary this is the last time.”

“And for me it’s great to be able to bring him back there. He’s spent such a big part of his career helping to build our company, I’m very proud we can bring him over. It feels very final. It’s going to be an emotional night.”

Her Relationship With Hulk Hogan:
